Lauching the P990i during the Worldcup 2006 is a great idea SE ?
I believe that most of us will be busy watching the Worldcup. SE wake up your idea and release the P990i in May instead of June 2006 unless your target market is for the ladies or it is going to be delayed again to Q3.

I totaly agree my P910i gets a lot of use and is getting a bit shabby but no matter what anyone says, untll the 990 arrives there is NO real alternative phone. I tried a N communicator belonging to a mate but missed touch screen in about 5 seconds! I hope are going to make the 990 casing out of more scratch resistant materials, and the ear peice plug on my has had to go as well, it was so badley worn I could only open it with a pin!

Not too sure the world cup will stop anyone from buying a phone, in the UK we have TV on 3g phones so I think it might just boost sales of people wanting to keep up with the world cup

hey guys , ure getting ahead of urselfs to the guy that mentioning maybe u can get p990 but its for shure gonna be proto and if u dont had the right connections u can get into trouble ... im telling this couse i also purchased a Proto 9300 Nokia endof 2004 just to realize i had half the memory of the ptoduction unit totalky crappy firmware wich they did not wanted to update on nokia center as i had a proto device (managed that somehow in the end) but when ilooke back on all it whas not worth to go throu that ...

Hey, sorry forgot about this thread lol. Yep the one i'm going to get won't be the final version I don't think, and I won't be needing to update it etc. so It's alright, will do me untill it's FINALLY released
A friend owes me a favour so I should get it in 2 weeks time, may put it up for sale after a week of having a play around
