sorry ayushy i disagree. all these sports drinks are meant to be substitutes for water (of course u need to drink water too) but while playin some sport these drinks give u more energy and quench ur thirst much better than water.
as far as price goes it depends on how much andd where u buy it. if u want just one 500ml bottle it can go upto $1.50 USD. i buy in packs of 12, which works out to bout .90cents or less per bottle.
ok i meant to put in 'ayush' ayushy was an typo, but now i think thats fine

The faq section of the red bull site writes to the contrary. These drinks aren't at all supposed to quench thirst dude

hmm.. dont kno bout wat red bull says. but studies have shown that drinkin these sports drinks helps for sure.
water does not have carbohydrates nor enough electrolytes. also frm personal experience i like gatorade over water when i do someting physically demanding.

I never said water tops over drinks! Just that each has it's own benefit. Drinks are supposed to give you much more of course!

hmm..just checked gatorade.com and it seems gatorade is different from rest. It IS in sooth a thirst quencher! So there are differnt types of energy drinks available...
I just started to drink red bull and it seemed quite good Only thing is the cost factor (Rs. 75 for 250 ml )
