sori for d inconvenience, w hv bin communicatng w SE supplier almost everyday for several weeks to ff-up d price for swapping of units ( out of warranty) incldng yors, as of dis date no reponse from dem. we hv emails to SE supplier inclding Rodney to release prices so dat we can infrm our customers. pls. do extend patience a lttle more bt rest assured we r doing our best to provide a good service to u our customer(s) but der r certain things that r beyond our control. tks

i just called SE a while ago, and this is what they said: They'd just received ur email regarding the prices, and the unit to be replace is not yet with them. So it would take you two, three weeks to know the price? is that how slow your transactions are going? then im asking who's side to put the blame on, they said that its not theirs so that points it to you guys. You know i call you everyday since after i brought it to you, then this is what would i discover? if it not for me to call SE you wouldnt work it out fast as you should be?
bottom line: 1 day for a businessman without a cell seems forever, how would you take 2 weeks(or more in your case) you should have provided me a service phone even if you'll have me pay for my unit in advance. 6K for a 5110 service unit is just fine with me.

our s.o.p for out of warranty units is to confirm price from SE supplier before committing price to customer thats why yor unit is still with us so that any time you can pull it out. Prior to email, we have been ffing- up the prices from them but no response . Also, we have proof we sent the email dated 11/04. Fyi, All swapping units come from the SE supplier. maybe you can help us get the price coz as of this pm no response.... hope this clarifies your concern. will keep you posted. tks |

@gm & brit, do you have a replacement unit for t68m/i model? In the past days, my units keeps on hanging and auto-off. If ever you had a unit 4 replacement, I can drop in ur office tomorrow to swap my unit.tnxs!

deepsweech... i also encountered that same problem with semicon... I had a warrantied t28 at that time... I followed up constantly with semicon (for more than a month), pero ganoon pa rin... wala pa raw response from Ericsson, walang stock... finally I called up Ericsson, sabi nila meron daw silang stock ng t28... then and only then, did i get my replacement unit from Ericsson, not from semicon. it only took me 2 days when I followed up from Ericsson. |

really? me it took me one day to find out. but anyways here's d result in my case. smartnet told me that the replacement fee is 6K which is a lil big but its fine for me, then i the price that SE told smartnet is 17K!!!!!! whatd@#$@ its almost buying a new waranteed one right? i calld SE and they said they dont support replacement now for non-waranteed fones(so maybe thats the reason y) but here's prob about smartnet: they told me to wait for 2 weeks without a fone and after helping them to communicate with SE, ill find out that the fee is 17K not 6K? might as well buy a new one before then. that really sucks.
here's the bottomline:
if u bought a waranteed sony-ericsson and the waranty expires then ur fone fckdup widout droping it(SW maybe) BUY A NEW ONE.
MY oppinion
for SE: T68i really rocks but im sad to say quality sucks
xs. im buying a new fone today what do u suggest bsides SE?
