In my opinion, just a little hardware upgrade doesn't deserves 450€-500€ if you come from the x10, if you don't have an android or you have an old one then i can understand it, but the difference between the ARC and the x10 is not that huge, or at least i think so. If Trip manages to cook that ROM, our x10s will recieve a perfomance boost and will have the same skin with the same apps, so it would be like having an official update
If you want to play games i would go for any Tegra 2 or Exynos powered devices instead of adreno 205 ones

i am running 2.2 on my x10i they are not final, and i guess the 2.3 rom will never be ether. so why use a almost good 2.3 rom when you can run the full 2.3. yeah for a huge price. but non the less.

20 min preview of pre-production model of Arc, don't know how about you but for me it is quite smooth and lag free.

Thanks for the link Wishmaster. Good video Demo of the Arc indeed! Couldn't see any lag there at all throughout. Looking forward to Matt and Tracey's review of this phone. |

Another videos showing probably final(or near final) software version of Arc for japanese market.
I combined them into one playlist. Enjoy!

AFAIK, yep, Screen burns is a ( feature ) for AMOLED type screens
the feature that tells you that your device is old now and you HAVE to replace it

Yes I know...I have a HTC Desire with an AMOLED screen and it has very noticeable screen burn. |

AMOLEDs are like Plasma in terms of screen wear-out anyway. they also die faster than CCFL backlit LCDs
