ok. checked out the ibk20 in semicon and it's really great. Eventually got one for myself.
Good quality leather. It's thick enough to protect the screen.
Study metal belt clip.
Felt interior.
Authentic SE logo.
Magnetic lock.
Storage slot for extra Memory Sticks and styli. (too bad the earphones cannot be carried... probalby so that the case won't be too large)
Hole for the earphone jack so you can use the headset even if the phone's in the case.
Hole for attachable accessories (lika the radio) at the bottom of the phone.
Those who installed the hand strap on the P800 will also find this hole convenient.
Plus the extra headset, styli and strap.
... all for a reasonable price of 1,800+
This is a bargain because it ranges from $30 to $50 dollars abroad (go make the convertions).

guys, please beware of nine stars taxi cab with plate
number pxa-618. last saturday, i flagged down the
said taxi in domestic airport and instructed the
driver to drop me off bf homes paranaque.
the moment i closed the car door, i noticed my p800
was missing in my pocket. i still saw the taxi making
a u-turn and to get his attention that my p800 was
inside his cab, i called my phone using my spare
mobile fone. i was really close to the cab and i saw
him glanced at the backseat. he sped off right there
and then. even our subdivision security even chased
him but, failed.
i called up the said company but, they are not
cooperative as of this moment. i even asked the help
of wpd but unfortunately, justice was not given.
my p800 is mineral gray without the keypads and had
its memory stick inside.
now my question is, how do i block my fone?

When i got to the office this morning, I was surprised to see that my contacts disappeared. I do not know what I did to erase the phone book. All I did was charge the phone last night. It's just the phone book, all my other apps and settings are still there.
Anyway, I'll be syncing the phone book with my outlook contacts when I get home. If that doesn't work, I would restore my most 'recent' back up which isn't really up-to-date. Hope it works.
Did this happen to you guys before?

Just curious, is there a way to create a group in the P800 contact list so that when you want to send out multiple sms messages you can just indicate the group name and not the numbers you would like to send the message. This is possible in the 9210 I was hoping this is also possible with the P800 since both are on symbian platforms.
Thanks. |

Update:
I solved my little problem by synchronizing the phone with my outlook contacts. Good thing it was just that simple.
It's nice that SE thought of providing P800 users with sync and back-up software. You'll never know when you really need it. I guess we should always back up the phone and not take the software for granted (even if people complain that it sucks!)... It's still useful.
Have a great day everyone! |

Its possible to create a group in the contacts of the P800. Create a new contact then add the mobile numbers you want to include in the details. When you use the name of the contact when sending a text it will pop-up another window showing all mobile numbers listed, just check all of it and it would send to all the numbers. I guess this is much better than sending multiple messages by traversing your contact list.... |

Anyone know a store selling pocketop keyboards.
Poketop just released a driver for the p800.
Finally! A keyboard for the P800!

You spelled it like the way POKEMON is spelled. Is it pronounced that way too?
I feel it took them too long to release a keyboard for the P800.
Hope that will also work with the P900 so that it will not be obsolete in a few months |
