In the early firmwares it does have, but so did K800, and it was removed in later firmware revisions. It might be, but I wouldn't hold my breath...
@peacemf of course, not yet...

considering the fact that those photos will be probably reduced (size) they are good. The smaller the cleaner/sharper |

Unimpressed by the K850i photos thus far, as they look look an extrapolated 3.2MP K790/800 photo. However, has a LOT of time to iron these out.
I expect equal too or better quality to the Nokia E90's photos & Video which is SPECTACULAR atm in a FULL Production NON-Karl Zeiss lens.

@hurst
It's only a scam if they promise it, and at the moment they haven't said anything about the K850 having Megabass.
But... in a video I saw on YouTube, one of the SE reps said that the K850 even has Megabass - although I'm not sure I'd trust him 100%.
@bavlondon2
Those pics are pretty decent. Better than the N95 already IMO.
You can see from these few shots that the N95 puts far more contrast (too much contrast) than the K850, which puts a little too little, so it doesn't 'POP' like the N95's photo. You can see very little detail in the highlights of the N95 shot. So overall the K850 wins in that department, because underprocessing is easier to fix than over processing. +1 K850.
And the lens is clearly better on the N95, with less purple fringing, and it's a little sharper.... +1 N95.
..although the better lens is negated with the amount of noise reduction used in the N95's shots, which leads to a loss in texture and detail. +1 K850. Look at these examples:
Weird foliage and blotchy car detail:
Loss of detail on sign:
So the K850 is the better camera phone, and SE wins again!
And I'm not sure if you've seen those 'other' shots of the cats and dogs, supposedly taken by the K850. Those are very fake. No Exif data, and the F stop keeps on changing, which the K850 and other camera phones cannot change.

you forget one little thing........the camera (or the phone) is just a proto.
think when have improve (optimize) all pic-profiles, whitness-balance, etc, then you will see even better pics....no doubt about that !

No, thats only what it has been tested with since bigger memory cards probably did not exist at the time it was tested. As with all other SE phones, this one most likely will work perfectly with bigger cards as well.

Thanks, but those photos are not new and have been floating around for some time now. Check a couple of pages back of this thread and you'll find them again.

My only concern untill now about K850 has to do with the D-pad and more specific with the selection button which is not in he centre of the D-pad but above it.
How easy will it be to play games with this design of D-pad. I surely prefer D-pad over joystick but I think that in cases like java games, where D-pad and selection are used very fast it won't be very convenient. Maybe in such cases buttons 2 and 5 should do the work of selection. |

well almost in every games the 5 key is the confirm one(wich in K850 is inserted into the D-pad)...soo I see no problem there
