I think I'm going to stay with X10 for a long time. This phone may had a hard start but the journey has truly been exciting and great. Using 1.6 to 2.3 has truly made a different experience of using a phone
+1!

I also have 4 folders set up to, mine are Social, Web, Media and Tools respectively, my apps in the folders dont rearrange themselves though, maybe your X10 is unlocking itself while in your pocket?
I also wondered if my phone is unlocking in my pocket. I've had previous experience of not ensuring the screen is blank before pocketing it and then later discovering it playing a movie in my pocket, so perhaps this is happening, but I am being very careful to avoid this.

Im waiting for the so called Xperia Duo Don't think the Arc is worth the 18month upgrade Now the X10 has Android 2.33 |

Ok I haven't been able to fix my phone, even though I got the replacement part. My usb pin connector was damage and so cannot connect via usb for charging or even do the update.
I got what I need, but I can't find someone who can do it. 2 biggest repair shop in my city, Wichita, KS, said it's very complicated work and require special soldering tool. They both don't want to take on the work. My only option now is to send it out for repair, and I don't know how much Sony Ericsson will charge.
Some of you with the same problem, did you send it in for repair as well?
Also on the new Gingerbread Update, on my Xperia Neo, the music app, although it have equalizer now, which is a big +, but they removed the SHUF, REPEAT, REPEAT1, etc. Did the same happen with Xperia x10?
Why did they removed it. I like to use that option, plus while they are at it, should've just add a lock screen widget/player.
T-mobile USA network. Xperia x10i unlocked + 32GB / Xperia Neo Xperia TX LT29i Xperia Z C6606 Xperia L C2104 Xperia M Dual C2004 Currently using Xperia Z1s C6916 (T-Mobile USA)

Because their new music player is just the original Android one, but with a more pleasent skin. And since the original Android player doesn't have these options, Neo's/Arc's/Ray's/... player don't have that option either. It's not Mediascape anymore...
The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand... Mediar's Site |

Same ol' SE, it's always either one or the other, never both at the same time-no eq on the previous, no extras on the current. *sigh*
@Big D
Hate to be the bearer of bad news but SE policy is replace the whole motherboard not just the USB bit so the cost won't be cheap
@MrJulius
No changes on the camera which I'm glad for really because the original deal was X10 was to get gingerbread but at the expense of the camera which would've be stock android but they somehow managed to implement the original camera software

at the Haribolmannen...
My x10 unlocks, when it receives a call.
During the call I can turn off the screen, but it is not locked!
Happened to me several times, that the dear little creature
opened different apps or changed settings in my pocket!
regards Erik |

My x10 unlocks during a call. Whether or not it is in my pocket.
When i have it in my hand, I may try to lock it - the screen turns off, but it is not locked, though it gets black.
When I press the on/off button the screen is active again, without needing to swipe to open.
