It will support almost all major bands I believe thanks to World Multi Mode in Snapdragon 800.
If I'm not wrong Z already supports AWS.
I know that the SoC itself can support almost, if not all, frequencies and technologies. To my knowledge, it's up to SONY on what radio they're placing in the device. The Z does support AWS, but only on the C6602, which is the HSPA only version. For their C6603, the international one does not support AWS on both the HSPA and LTE modem. One of the main reason I never got the Z. Here I'm hoping that AWS would be available on their international model, for Honami. Don't want to wait for a carrier branded one, and nor do I want to buy a carrier branded phone. Which is the case with Z right now, the C6606 is pointing to be a T-Mobile branded version.

nightwing! you made my night (based on my timezone )
no offense but keep it up dude, I enjoyed chatting in this thread lately because we have users like you who loves asking questions which forces our community sources to spill out every beans they've got
I notice some of us aren;t anxious to see a honami spypic even after EOS got leaked, I personally don't like spypics as it sometimes ruin the fun, Sony just needs to stage a jaw dropping announcement for Honami sometime and it'll shock the mobile world

@razec you're evil. pure. evil.
i do agree. i think they should release an announcement date and let us all squirm in our seats waiting for the day. they should just shock everyone and make a huge deal out of it with lots o fanfare and hot women
on another note.. xperiablog has apparently confirmed the Xperia Z Ultra name? and other specs and what not. did they get their info from here? who knows.. but they sound pretty confident reporting everything

I don't know - I think I'd eventually like to see a spypic of a small section of the rumoured device, just to get the juices flowing.

@moogoo: Thanks! and yes we need hot girls on honami annoucement, as many as the show girls that represented PC brands at computex
I'm curious how good triluminous display can be in real life situations, The specs sheet screams awesome but i wonder how it stacks against LG's IPS-HD.

Everything that has been leaked and shared here summarized in a blog post by XperiaBlog.
Xperia Z Ultra (Togari) is a beast: 6.4-inch Triluminos display, Snapdragon 800, 6.5mm thin |

So Togari's "Ultra" hover touch display can detect pressure? if that's true then wow!
And it seems that Sony may have realized that other companies are starting to incorporate weather sealing capabilities on their phones so they decided to up its notch with better IP rating while maintaining good aesthetics to maintain their lead.

razec.. it's infrared optical touch.. so it can't sense pressure, but it can detect the size of the object.
so it can detect the size of the object obstructing the IR field, but not pressure. so if you were to use the tip of a pen and press down, it won't get bigger.. it will remain a small dot.

But if you use something with a soft tip then you can measure pressure too |

That's where the stylus might come in handy. |

Will be interesting to see how this touch interface will work with various pens and what not, would be nice if sony provided a pen with a thin tip for writing, since I wouldn't want to use a real pen or even pencil to write on the screen even if it is scratch resistant and durable. |

if it's a soft tip like a paint brush.. but not like a felt tip marker or anything. still not real pressure sensing.

Then Honami is only just a phone and not quite a phablet.

I dont think they will use a neonode touch thingy. As far as I know that requires boarders around the screen where the infra-red sensors are. That would look silly on a phone
Edit. Also neonode is aimed at low-cost E-readers and stuff like that
