been awhile since i've browsed through here  , but would I be correct to assume that ericserve has the new firmware for the k700? . R2L i believe, a little out of touch. |

Yes indeed R2L001 is the latest. But this has been around for quite some time.
What's the thing about rather to travel to Europe instead of China?

u can buy a bluetooth adapter for transfer though
its kinda cheap nowadays
i think about 70-80 bucks in low yat? |

thanx joven but ive a dongle...but i need teh cable to perform the online update though thats y i need 2 know the price..n can it be found in the cellphone shops n nowhere else?i dun wanna have to go to the service centre to update n leave my phone there for few days X-( |

oh if u like to perform online update
u cant use regular usb cable
u can only use dss-25 or dss-20
thats a docking station
anyway u sure u wanna do the online update thing?
read some thread about it
and it seem not very stable yet

latest will be R7C. but if u don't face any problem with ya existing firmware. advisable do not make the upgrade. as for me i have no problem with the R6C and i do not want the latest upgrade.
p/s no doubt the upgrade service is free for under malaysia warranty. but there is no need to make every new update whenever a new version is out |
