The e90 looks great, and the the new implementation of s60 even more so. I think with the browser coming with the iphone doing what it does other manufacturers will feel a little threatened, so this move will definately open up things to open source developers more and increase competition. My big worry with the iphone at the moment is, what will run on it? Will there be cool games available, and as widely as on my current handset? That, time will tell.
I have been asked to write mobile game reviews on a up and coming mobile game review site. I think it will be great, since i do like odd games sometimes, but will be able to give a good overview of gameplay and graphics, and if it is quality or not.
Saw an commercial advertising typical sms dating/flirting stuff tonight. How cheap ass! It had me rolling, especially the voice of the lady speaking, and her last lines:'and remember, you're the man!' hehe!

Ever since rain stopped play here on Friday its been raining on and off, with some nice low temps too. Makes me yearn for winter, my favourite season.
I've been noticing something odd with Mxit the past few days... Whenever i log on using my mtn simcard but vodacom settings i stay logged on as always, but my airtime balance climbs quite noticeably. Not just by a few cents as its always done, but by 60-150c on most occasions. Weird.... I remember when i started using it, in early '05 it did that with regularity, but i'd thought it was sorted...

A coin in my pocket scratched my screen. I'm very upset about that.
That and my girlfriend is becoming addicted to jmIrc (irc on your mobile). Now I have to share her attention with everyone on the net....
Maybe I should delete the program from her phone. But that would be nasty.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIX25!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
May you have many more. And may you shun your evil ways lol.....

Happy Birthday Big Daddy Brix! Hope you have a good one...
@ Siosal, hehe! Having an addict partner is not fun. Me and some of my late night buddies are like that...get together, and all of us on our phones. I am usually not chatting then, either posting here or playing games. But yeah.
Talking about games, anyone got any good games recently? I got hooked on a game called Jewel Quest 2 this weekend...Think I must have been playing it most of the time while being awake this weekend! Goodness, it is getting bad...

To celebrate da brixsta's birthday, Nokia, Samsung and Motorola have all anounced cellphones today at 3GSM , including the TV-streaming Nokia N77, the E90, etc.
Samsung have playing with dimensions again, or lack of them really...as one of the phones launched today is called the U100 and is a wafer-like 5.9mm! Somehow they've still crammed a 3mp cam in there.
The F520 touchscreen smartphone also looks very interesting..those 2 keypads are certainly unique!

Once again thanks for all the birthday wishes...been a hectic day coz until six this evening I didn't actually feel like it was my birthday.
@da wanqsta: I think you were trying to say that the N77 was a DVB-H instead of streaming. There's certainly lot's of choices for me when I'm due for my free upgrade in December// Now if could only come out with their Bravia phone on GSM///

@ da brixsta,
Doh, my bad. Thanks for correcting me regarding the N77.
The new Neonode N2 looks quite intriguing; hopefully it achieves greater market fruition than their first attempt...

It's quite tiny...have to be careful not to lose it.
Since the iPhone was revealed with it's revolutionary interface I've been reminded of the computer controls used in the "Minority Report" -where the lead characters control computer systems by simply twisting their hands.
Apple and Nokia (with their planned new UI) are well on their way to introducing such technologies.
Another new announcement that got me excited was the MotoRIZR Z8...nice UIQ phone that looks awesome and the feature-set looks brill( it's UIQ)...being Moto it means that it should depreciate faster than the Zim dollar.
PS: Read the story about Zimbabweans being asked to contribute to uncle Bob's birthday bash

LOL, didn't we read a similar story as regards 'collecting' from Zim's 10 provinces for Uncle Bob's birthday bash, about this time last year as well..?
I wonder how many inflation rate world records are held by Zim...
As regards the Minority Report, I remember wondering how far off such an interface would be.
I wasn't overly wowed by the movie itself though; personally I found the not-as-dark 'The Island' far more enjoyable.

@da wanqsta:Haven't seen The Island but another technology I loved in the Minority Report was personalised ads...Ok maybe not billboards but we could see such technology on tv very soon- Google are already doing something similiar with the net.
