@da wanqsta: A sour note from the cricket though was the boo's that greeted Graeme Smith when he did he's post-match interview and it came from the Pakistani supporters. And what's up with Inzi sounding like a Muslim zealout?
Yep, celltech is a beta tester so it's quite likely that he's got/had the gadgets way before anyone in SA.

I didn't see the post-match interviews, but that's disappointing to hear.
Irrespective who won, a pity a good game of cricket is left with an unpleasant after-taste.

A bit off the point, this article is about Iran:
http://www.ynetnews.com/Ext/C[....]eview/1,2506,L-3360816,00.html
So they got the cure for Aids they say...one which does not involve the "blowing the victim to smithereens" method...impressive! Now if this proves to be true, what do you think the results of this will be in world politics? How will America respond? And Blair? And the EU? And the important question, when will the "Capable Iranian Nation" bring us a really cool handset? hehe!

As the weather man said, it's snowing all over here at the moment; our second day of snow since Winter arrived. Much more snow than last time and it was interesting trying to reverse out the yard over all the stuff this morning...
@ Francois,
Iran's really making a plethora of bullish statements lately, aren't they? I can already imagine US and other EU scepticsm regarding that IMOD treatment for AIDS, but let's see what is all unveiled by their hardline prez within the next week or so...

Confession time:
There's a Samsung that I really would like to get my hands on, that has just been announced.
Meet the F700.
5mp with auto-focus, touchscreen 3G Ultra Edition with very, very pocket-friendly dimensions. Only downer is the lack of wi-fi and EDGE, it seems...

Wifi shouldn't be much of a loss, EDGE on the other hand is definitly a 'must have'. Unless you want to go back in time and use gprs or 'back to the future' with the power hungry and short distance 3g. A few months back I made a list with 'most important things' (for me). I remember S60 and Edge right at the top. Size, weight, 3g were closer to the bottom :) But that's just me.

Ive had these units about a month now, N95 is a cool handset but I'm no fan of the slider function, battery life sucks, I guess we cant have it all........lol
K810i is awesome, just a matter of getting used to the keypad, K610i is
supposedly replacement for the W810i but I cant understand why it looks
too cheap for.

Further to what Mario said, I'd love to see an improvement in the battery life of Symbian handsets...
On a different note,
according to http://www.metimes.com Japan's cellular industry has grown to the remarkable figure of 100million plus. They quote figures of 100 224 500 at
the end of January, as compared to 99 825 800 at the end of December 2006.
Significant, bearing in mind that Japan's
population is 127.7 million.

I got a second job to help me pay my bills and debts. It involved pc work and my current pc wasn't cutting it.
So I bought a new pc because the pay i was getting on the second job was covering it. I got the new pc over the weekend (the company new I was buying it) and was told on wednesday they would no longer be continuing with the business.

That is incredible! South Africa's government could take a leaf out of their book about connecting people...
So Anna Nicole Smith is no more...a friend just told me, and her Wikipedia Page ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anna_nichole_smith) echoes it. Not that I was a fan or anything, but I wonder what exactly happened. Let's face it, there was always controversy surrounding anything that happened to her or whatever she did.
Anyway, long day ahead...dreading it.
