Has anybody got FMA to work with a K700 yet? First time I tried it said that the phone was out of reach. After realising that I had not set the bluetooth serial port for my K700 I got further but now it fails after saying 'user abort detected'. My version is 0.1.0.28d (patched), below is the activity log.

If you are a Mac user you can use BluePhoneMenu (but I still like FMA). I like using it better than the Address Book. It's nothing like FMA (you can't save messages) but it's the closest thing there is. And it's free, too. |

@Parksie
Try downloading the latest version of fMA (0.1.1.15a RC3) from SourceForge. They have included support for the K700i.

That's strange...
It works fine for me. I have it installed in two PCs. One is running on XP home while the other is still on Win98SE.
No problems here.

Strange...if it is running with 98SE, it should be running with ME too, i think.
Maybe it could be useful to try another driver for my USB-Bluetooth-Stick? I've got the widcomm-software, perhaps another SW does better? Any propositions? |

Try using a cable. If it works with a USB/serial cable then it might be your dongle that's causing the connection problems.
Yes, using an updated driver might do the trick.

After installing XP, fma works properly with my T630
But there seems to be a bug in the phone's pop-up menu: sometimes i can't scroll to the second page of the menu, thus i.e. winamp-control is impossible.
any solutions?

hi all,
i've make my simple software for SMS/Call/Monitoring available to public, it is designed with Bluetooth in mind, and does not depend on MPM (Great for those who have problem with MPM)
Feel free to check it out at http://www.eflame.com/fma, please forward your enquiries and comment to this thread.
btw, it's free and will always be in beta.
Cheers.

EDIT
You can now find the source-code and the latest executables of the open-source versions of this fabulous software at @ SourceForge or @ Xinium

Hi !
Sorry about my english
I wondering... is it normal that phones battery dosen't stay up even 1 day if it's all the time connected program with Bluetooth. My phone is Sony Ericsson T610 and it's about 2 week old
Best regards

That's obviously normal, for Bluetooth needs a lot of your battery's charge. But since your T610 is only two weeks old, the capacity still will rise a bit, so your T610 will stay switched on for at least one day
