Hmm, I wonder when I'm going to get my update. My phone from the UK, but I'm in Canada. I guess it should get it at the same time as other UK owners? |

yes, you will get the update the same time as UK users, as its UK Firmware running on the phone.
It doesnt matter where you are located in the world

vivftp - i'm in the same boat. have a UK phone and am in the US. We tend to get the update last out of everyone. Not sure why, but it is usually the case. I'm looking forward to it. I'm not entirely sure, but i feel like since the last update, my battery has been draining a lot faster. Even with just sitting on my desk with the screen turned off, the battery drained almost 12% in just 3 hours. I could understand if i was actively using it, but just sitting on my desk? I feel like before the update, the same scenario would just result in a 2 or 3% drain, if that. I would see a flat line in my battery usage, but there is always a constant down slope now. Not sure what's going on, but I hope the OREO update fixes it.
UPDATE: getting my OREO update right now.. i have the UK single sim variant and am located in the US. Can't wait! Hope this solves my battery "problem"

So updated and I like it a lot. Things somehow seem snappier even though they were already speedy to begin with. Battery is back to normal and draining slowly with a good flat line when sitting idle.
Love the small touches with notifications in the lock screen. Haven't noticed any problems yet. So far so good. Great job Sony!

I like the higher volume that came with Oreo.

I also noticed the "ok google" works when the screen is off now, which is HUGE, since i'm a big google assistant user.
am loving my battery life too.
i do miss tap to wake though, and as mentioned before, lack of magnifying glass when moving the cursor is kinda annoying.
overall, i love the update.

Buying mine in a couple weeks. Been using a Blu R1HD since my 32GB Z3's screen broke. Decent, usable phone but dislikes getting wet A LOT. Plus Blu almost never updates software. Still running Marshmallow |

I've went the XZ1 route and no regrets either.
The best one I've ever had.
Reminds me of happy times with my beloved X1.

Just ordered mine for US$564.79 off Amazon. Deapsea black, International Version dual sim with fingerprint scanner functional. Should get it Dec 8 when my brother gets here. Will test it on Nougat for a day or 2 before moving to Oreo |

Good Stuff DentyCracker. You're gonna love it. It's even more amazing on Oreo and is still the speed king of 2017.
