A quick summary of Xperia's announcement timeframes;
XZ - IFA 2016
XZ Premium - MWC 2017
XZ1 - IFA 2017
XZ1 Premium - MWC 2018 ???
The pattern is clearly visible, it would make perfect sense to announce XZ1 Premium at MWC '18

@ambivalent
Standard : every 6 month ( not always necessary)
Compact : yearly
Premium: every 18 months
Like Adida has told us, next Premium at IFA18.
So it will be XZ2 Premium.
So Sony can use new imx and Oled..
Sony wants to give more time for people to enjoy the Premium.
Someone on GSMArena told me STE Oled project got cancelled.. 😢
If I am not wrong the tv has LG's oled.
I am a fan of LCD, but am curious about the oled screen that will be used.
Does G34xx have IP68 and FP scanner?

" In the information of the other day, in the new color "Rosso", it becomes the specification enhancement version of the current color, and it is said that it becomes RAM "6 GB" ROM "128 GB". For details, "There is a top model in" Xperia XZ premium "! What? RAM "6 GB" and exactly like a dreamy Xperia! Please refer to. Well, according to AndroPlus this time, we report that the refresh rate of "Xperia XZ premium" corresponds to a maximum of 120 Hz. According to this information, it is supposed to correspond to "120 Hz" only in "1080p" mode. In addition, it is said that the display of "Xperia X", "Xperia X Compact", "Xperia X Performance", "Xperia XZ", "Xperia XZ", "Xperia XZs is also supported, so I was not too conscious of this , The refresh rate would have been quite high. Recently, the new iPad Pro series corresponds to "120 Hz", the display speed of the screen has become faster, and accompanying the topic of greatly improving the operability of "Apple Pencil" has become a topic, "Xperia XZ It is also known that "AQUOS R" which is the same summer model as "premium" also corresponds. Personally I realized that the screen started to move faster after "Xperia Z 5", but I realized that I was receiving the benefit when the refresh rate was operating at 120 Hz.However, since it is only from the "developer mode" that you can change the setting arbitrarily, it seems that the honestly high hurd is high, but you can also have the hope that you can change the setting arbitrarily in the future. Considering at least this information, it seems that "Xperia XZ 1" series also corresponds. Let's hope for the next report." |

Thats really interesting. I have heard from the sales team that the Red XZP will be on sale at the end of the month, but I had no idea that there is a bump in specs.

I've read Red XZP would come with IFA phones.
Also that there is a chance Red has 6 + 128. |

"In January 2013 (during last year's CES event), the two companies unveiled 56" 4K OLED TV prototypes. The Oxide-TFT substrate was produced by AUO. We know that Panasonic used an ink-jet printing process, Sumitomo's P-OLED materials and a direct-emission architecture. Sony used their own Super Top Emission OLED technology and evaporable OLED materials." |
