Battery drain issue?
I have 76% battery left after 6 hrs of mild uses.
Received about 10+ emails and 20+ texts, 2 short calls.
Took some pictures, full auto sync enabled for 4 accounts.
I would say that the battery life is pretty good. |

Considering GSII is a year old it still puts up quite a fight to Xperia S, very nice shootout by GSMArena there, very balanced, no biased etc...Wonder how the GS2 and Xperia S will compete once the GS3 arrives and GS2 price falls.

Than do others make a mistake?
Do you have Sony weather widgets on screen?
I can't make it work that good.

The camera review was also very in depth and balanced, not like Engadet's where they seem to think the Apple iPhone 4's camera is the greatest every invented. |

Timescape widget is also running with the YouTube widget and the calender widget. |

Apart from the weather widget looking visually very nice, would some of you say it's better than most weather widgets out there?

Indeed!
I no longer even bother to check Engadget's reviews, to them the Steve Jobs is God and the iPhone is the Jesus piece. Realy is annoying when they tout iPhone4 as having the best Camera when WE ALL KNOW that is far from the actual truth, i always just wait for GSMArena to do a review, they have remained so reliable, balanced and honest from the get go, many networks here use GSMArena to help you compare phones at their stores. They have actualy made it hard to trust other review sites, lol.

For those who believe no explanation is necessary, For those who don't none will suffice |

Ok. Than I don't know. My phone has Data, WiFi and Bluetooth off on idle.
And just in the pocket, through few hours, 2 or 3 maybe, it sucks 3 or 4%.
With identical usage pattern on Arc, without widgets though but with the same apps
I get much better results.

But you need to give the battery a few charge cycles first.Am I right?? But I do fear the 1,750mAh battery or whatever the capacity is will not be enough to power that HD screen & dual core for long

I believe it will be enough. It's more than Arc, double core is at times - AFAIK - less power hungry.
But let's see how is it after a week.
P.S. One more good thing:
Gallery shows real pictures, not renders.

Install CPU Spy and see how much the CPU is working. If it does not show Deep Sleep with a value like 85% or above when used lighty, then something is wrong with your software. |
