Well as for the dummy model feeling like a real model. That happened with a c903 the build was the same. Lets hope not with this.

There's no equalizer and no, only mono speaker. But it does a fair job!
No equalizer?
Is that a sick joke? For a cell phone that is supposed to be a 'multimedia monster' that is just ridiculous. I know a lot of people think the camera is the most important feature, but for me the media player is also very important and the audio quality -and my ability to adjust it- is key in my purchase decision. If it doesn't have an equalizer I just won't buy it. Period.
The C905 was my last phone.

At least, Satio is quite cheaper than we (or I) thought. Let's just hope Satio succesor's spec are way better. |

Hopefuly PowerMP3 and TTPod work on Satio, because both those have equalisers and are fantastic S60 Music players.

i have noticed that the jpeg compression in the camera photos is increased in the retail version.....
the samples from the prototypes (with prototype camdrivers) are about 3.5~5.5MB but the retail ones are about 2~3.5MB... (besides it's a little obvious on the pics.... the retail ones seems a bit over-processed)
but the camera picture quality is still good.... |

Today I had the chance to see this phone. The photo is not that good as it was in a rush. Here it is:

Perhaps the non-existence of equalizer on Satio (and Omnia HD, i think) is a trade-off with Nokia.

Like Gucci said, one can install third party music players and solve this "problem". That's the beauty of a smartphone. |

but installing third party music player wont bring the music widget on the standy screen, nor those animations(when playing and pausing), afaik.
Xell,
Could you please upload some videos from satio with the latest firmware? I hope the videos dont lag now.

I agree with djin, not only those third party players won't bring the widget on the standby screen, but more importantly, they're NOT free, some of them cost as much as $30 and they have really poor graphics. I know 'cause I tried to find a good player for my G900 (Symbian, yes) and I couldn't find anything worth installing permanently.

TTPod and PowerMP3 for Symbian S60 is free |

Yes, both of those players are free, but none of them support cover art (and then what's the point of having a 3.5" screen?) and PowerMP3's equalizer only works with mp3 files, and I have a lot of mp4 and wma audio files.
And that's the bottom line: why would I have to use a external application that doesn't feel 'natural' and that's not integrated with the rest of the phone, just because they were too lazy to include a proper equalizer?
