According to The Unofficial Sony Ericsson Blog, there will be NO ANNOUNCEMENT on November 15th. Infact, he cited that, Aldo Ligouri, Head of Global Communications & PR at Sony Ericsson, replied :
"Thanks for the additional information, but I’ve done a search and can confirm that we have no plans to make any new product announcement in November. What we announced last week, on the 6th, is the last product announcement we’ll be making this year. All Sony Ericsson product announcements, regardless of their nature, are handled and co-ordinated by my group in London. I don’t know where your source has heard this information but it’s not true"
Heh... Looking at the situation right now, we have about a month and a half to end this 2007. If SE does not plan to announce new stuff this month, maybe they will do after new year... who knows...??? "

Back to dreamland and compromised solutions from SE.

Russian well-known source mobile-review.com has written that so-awaited announcement on November 15th is most likely to be cancelled..
I assume we are not going to see an official announcement next P-series phone up until next year.

Still won't get the I-phone 
If it's not announced on the 15th of November, then it shouldn't be too far off in all honesty. As mentioned a day or two back  can change dates whenever they can and thats what they've done!!

It's disappointing to read the announcement has been pushed back but slightly more encouraging based on my earlier post.
Personally I'd rather see the announcement and only have to wait 2-3 months for the product to start shipping, than have 6 or more months of anticipation.

Yeah...it's very likely to be delayed. The announcement will take place maybe one or two weeks later as assumed. |
