I guess it is just the beginning. All this is so predictable.
They should tie up with a phone maker, for instance fujitsu, and deliver great camera phones globally.
Same with NEC they should hook up with guys like olympus rather than sell the mobile division abroad.
And Pana should not give up on phones, or they can say goodby to lumix and to camcorders someday because people will buy smartphones and much less point and shoot.
Fujitsu, NEC, Pana, toshiba, they were (are) all selling pcs, how is that working now with win8 stellar success and people buying ipads/samsung phones and tablets?
Curious to see what will be left of them in a few years, i hope they find some way to survive in the electronic consumer market.

My main requirement from Ubuntu is to have it as a developing platform, my current (and future) web apps that I develop work best with the local test server is based in linux. Android isn't strong to use as a workstation for web development, the IDEs and the suport isn't there, on ubuntu it is.

It's the back and the camera is cunningly hidden under the thumb.
I don't think this will be on my shopping list. Need a good leather sleeve for my Tablet Z first.

I hope it has decent economics and comes with a carry case, lol. The cat would also make a welcome accessory. |
