@amby: EHEN! Now u r talking! Remain brym! But talking abt gadgets, i went to the SE store in london and the x1 they had on display wanted me to run mad! If only i had a spare £530!!! Na lie! My conscience wouldnt let me sleep if i had bought it. That would have bought me a p1 and a nice new notebook on sale! I just hope its price (relatively) crashes by next yr. |

abu, if I admit what you want me to admit, I'll be admiiting what I don't want to admit!
Besides, I only have one mobile phone. My other phone, an N95( a gift from my boss) stays at home always. I realy hate carrying 'load' that is why my passion these days is looking for a qwerty touch- screen smarphone under 100gm.

Big boys hate to carry load. Its small boys that carry multiple phones so that they can make cheap calls on one network, enyoy family and friends on another while making N5 text on the 3rd network.
Big boys need less weight in thier pockets to make room for car keys, platinum cards, roll of N1000 notes, etc hence the 100gm phone makes soo much of a difference than a, say, 165gm phone. Average joe needs a phone that when pick pocketed will change the gait of his walk due to the weight and a phone that can also be used as aweapon! |

Thanks Brym for the Touch Opera Mobile. This is the best Opera browser I've used. I like it The animations are really very cool.
I inserted my Zain SIM into my P1 yesterday, and I'm really impressed with the speed of their data services. Even though service here is limited to EDGE its still quite fast and stable. (My P1 isn't EDGE enabled) so I'm stuck with GPRS.
Oh, and did anyone notice any changes on Esato? Especially when posting?

Lol! Have no fixation! Its the way u talk in ur posts that just made me want to point it out! U were talking the talk but claiming not to walk the walk! Anyhow, mtn hasnt given me the speed or the consistency to download ur 4mb+ opera. Im still wondering if it will give my RAM challenged p990 a cardiac arrest! Will try to download overnight tonight. And think, on this same planet, there are people getting 7mbps! Shame NCC! |

I have better things to do with my worthless naira! Last week, i heard bcos of an impending opec drop in output, oil prices rose to $48! If we ev eventually hit $100 will Soludo start basking in the excess or what? Naija's case is just too bad. |

You can imagine 90% off your regular tariff. There is no hidden charges except the txt msgs which go up to #10 from #5-#7.

Im still skeptical. What happens to calls to people on family and friends? According to the brym's post, u need 60% to 90% to register, which i only have seen once by accident around 3am! Its mostly 50 or lower. Good luck with the typhoid.
50% is fine to register with. The call is your's so you'll chose the best % charge at each given time. Just realize itz a % deduction from your normal tariff. There's is no allowance made for friendz and family as it is not available on mtn extra cool platform. You have to be on extra connect |
