This forum has a group of data, of mobile software and hardware related. You can find Ericsson cradle in the main section of Sony Ericsson.

What's a bit strange to me, you (Vein) didn't wrote in the discription that the phone is not working. Or is the testfirmware working? Ifso, do you have a picture?

I can imagine that you're hoping on a high price, but this is essential information.

As far as I know, it cannot turn on, but when it did it used to run the test software. It probably has only a software problem, which can be fixed if you have a special flash connector that connects the pins underneath the battery, cruiser box and of course the right flash file. But I think r0sewhite could tell us more about how to fix such a failure on the Wakaba.
I personly think, that the price is a little too high.
And yes, T28 battery fits on it, but you cannot charge the phone with CST-13, since it has a parted, fully different system connector.

To be honest: Though I repaired hundrets of /// mobiles I was never able to get a Wakaba working again. I tried to repair 7 units so far. The problem ist, that they all differ extremely. You can't use the experience from one Wakaba to fix another one. So I am pretty unsure if I would be able to fix this one.

Furthermore I don't think it's a software related problem. Software doesn't stop working. And even if it's a software problem: Ericsson_man gave me his flash interface for a while and though I could boot some of the Wakaba, I couldn't change anything like flashing the phone.

Sorry, Veins Wakaba probably remains unusable. And therefor the demanded price is much too high in my eyes. The only fully operational Wakaba in excellent condition I know went for 300 Euro. Non-working units in perfect condition go between 100 and 200 Euro. Veins unit is neither working nor in perfect condition. So make up your mind about its value.

Well, to be honest, I never repaired any Wakaba phones, altough I have one non working as well.
All I know is, that software can stop working sometimes. I see it everyday on a lot of SonyEricsson K800. They just suddenly stop working and the only thing that fixes them is Pre-Configuration, which is a software related problem, and after that a software update content refresh.
But I'm sure r0sewhite is right, since he knows more about fixing vintage Ericssons, than probably any of us on this forum.

@hanky:
this problem only occurs on later SE models which have a file system. Not on older phones that have their primary firmware on a simple flash rom.

However, even if it is a software problem, there is no help: I know only one existing set of flash files (which I have got) but no one will be able to flash it into a Wakaba.

As time moves on its getting harder and harder to get hold of some Ericsson phones for us collectors/fans.

More and more of our kind our selling our collection, for one reason only: we need money.
The economy is going bad, some of us have lost their jobs or just found a new one after months of unemployment.
In other words, the once so great Ericsson phones are fading away from this earth...

I ask myself who's to blaim? And realize that i need more fingers to point.
Liberalisme, more and more things are done on global scale, and we are seeing lots of company's more to low cost country's. Country's that are overpopulated, don't deliver the same quality, and can't protect the inverment.
Overpopulation and globalisation are things that aren't a good thing, mankind isn't ready for that.
Times like these aren't new, the same thing happend in europe about a centry ago.
And again we can't point the same finger: politicians who have the wrong idea (or are plain stupid), immigrants, communist, socialists,...
What we need is nationalist, people who believe in themselves, in their country, in the people of europe (not the EU) and the people in the world who want and can make this planet a better place.

I hearby encouraged all of my fellow collectors/fans to make every day count, to do what you can for yourself, famely, country and planet.
And if you need any help: someone to talk 2, someone to ask advice, or anything you can think of... Feel free to contact me, and i'll do what ever i can to help you guys & girls.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA
