@da wanqsta: My post about the pitch was in response to that comment by Woolmer, which I also read on the Beeb.
Why can't he just say the groundsman should be fired? AFAIK Mr Hewu is the first black groundsman at Newlands.

@ jmash, they call it 'setting up the sequel'. That is what they do when they want to feed you some more of the same crap. The sad thing is, a lot of teens who have not developed brains yet will go watch it.
@ Kryptik, how about scrabble? I got one recently, and it only goes up to 6 letter words, but it is great. Been playing a lot of that. I also played text twist, more on the pc than phone. Quite fun:)

@Francois I also thought the creators might want to bring a follow up of that crap movie. @ da Brixta, I know you won't let me down man.She enjoys the phone more than her v3. I've been screwed up by MTN lately.About 5 months ago I had a bill limit set up on my accout, but my statement have been escalating way over my bill limit so I decided to contact them & it turns out the guy who helped me with the bl app. gave me incorrect info & that led to me paying every month more than what l should be paying. What an inconvenience!!!

@jmash: It's not an inconvenience...it's crap service. With the reality of number portability networks should be communicating with their sales staff that bad service will cause customers to jump ship to other networks when their contracts expire.
BTW: South Africa beat the Pakistani's and Inzimam won't even come out to do the post-match interview.
While I was sitting at Newlands I was joking with my lady friend that Inzimam took an eternity to leave the field after being dismissed...while the next batsmen had already marked out the position of his stumps Inzimam could still be seen slowly moving off.

Congrats to the Proteas!
Gee, I knew Inzi wasn't the quickest on the pitch, but didn't realise he was THAT slow!
Seriously though, whatever his personal feelings, it's poor that he, as captain, still didn't make it out to a the post-match interviews.
I could've understood him being obstinate during that Darryl Hair fiasco in England, but actions like that on the pitch due to him being adjudged as caught behind by Boucher, well that's cricket old boy, warts n' all.
Will be uploading a few cellphone pics in due course.

Taking the Woolwich Ferry in east London over the Thames River again today, on our way to visit extended family.
A few coloured arrows pointing out a few landmarks; even on full digital zoom, the pic is kinda acceptable..:
red: Thames Barrier
light blue: Canary Wharf, the tallest building in the UK.
yellow: London's multi-million Pound white elephant, The Millenium Dome
green: One of the Woolwich vehicle ferries.
Taken with full zoom again, across to the other side of the Thames, with all the vehicles ready to disembark:

Eish fellows
I finally upgrade to the Vodafone M600, Life is a little bit unfair, this whole vodafone brand is a pain in the air.
Anyway I've trying to find the way of flashing, but no luck yet. Most people they do it onsite not online.
I might just learn to live with it.

Hey TI,
Congrats on getting your M600i!
So now there's 2 on the thread with M600i's. Good stuff.
BTW, if you don't want that meerkat pic, post it off to Francois; I'm sure he could fashion it into something pratical, like a dartboard.

For warranty reasons, it may be safer to keep the vodaphone branding on. If there is a way you can get the vodacom people to take it off and keep the warranty in tact, go for it. No matter what, mobile phones are not always as wonderful as they should be. 1000s of things can go wrong with them, so rather safe than sitting with a crap phone for a few months or something.

@ brixster,
Sky One finally had a re-run of the Ross Kemp on Gangs series, and last night they showed the episode about CT's 'The Number' in Pollsmoor Prison, that you wanted to check out.
Fortunately I managed to get my act together this time and recorded it.
There's still space on the DVD-R, of course. Maybe I'll just let it 'run' and let it record MTV Base or one of the other hip-hop music video channels tonight until the DVD-R is full, then finalize it.
PM me as to where you want me to post the DVD-R to.
PS: It's not all sub-titled, just some of the people who he interviews; the broader accents that the average Brit might otherwise battle with.

Just got up from horrible dream. I'm not going to go too deep into analysing it but will suffice by saying that I've got some issues with my mother that needs to be aired- not in a public forum, of course
PS: Wanqa, thanks for recording that show.

Eish Brix, tell me about it, i do my best to forget my dreams. Some of them are too vivid even for my twisted imagination.

Internet down at work. Means i will probably go to school again today, even though i am not dressed decently to be seeing clients today. Think our ADSL router had an intimate encounter with the lightning this weekend.
I am house-sitting for my aunt who is putting up cell towers in tanzania, so i got access to dstv. Must say, there is only crap to watch, other than a few shows, and between all the mtvs and vh1 and so i do spend more time on the local channels. We should be getting a lot more localised broadcasting due to dstv losing their monopoly this year. Good thing.

It should also be added that I watched Mel Gibson's Apocalypto last night. It's good action movie albeit quite bloody, ok maybe not as bloody as Cannibal Holocaust.
