I'm beginning to think that the nokia 6230 is not capable of GPRS on the glo network, could it be as a result of being a 3g phone and glo being on 2.5g?

@ihe I'm considering marrying from Imo now...

@ihe: My last post was before service, and I am back now from church. I am posting this from the Apapa Amusement Park where Nifemi (my son) is having a swell time.

Nope. It is capable of GPRS. You only need proper config. Take it to Adeola Odeku, or (better still) bring it to me

I am sending this from a taxi enroute Akure. There was no gprs in ikorodu and mile 12. None along the Lagos Ibadan express way too. Normal Coverage is patchy on this route. So all that Glo bragging is not really true. We just arrived Ore.

@aya: the 6230 actually belongs to my brother whom just purchased it 46k yesterday, he's already thinking of going back to the phone to swap for either siemens Sx1 or sonyericsson K700i. Do you think that's a good idea? pls advise on what he should do cos he's really pissed off. just incase he decides to keep the 6230, i'll bring to you to try to config.

@mamba. SX1 is definitely a superior phone, but battery life sucks; and that keypad..? K700i has had very good reports so far, so he might consider that. But the 6230 does arouses my curiousity :) But thatz just me being me, the curiousity, that is.
