No Bratislava is dangerous but New York City.
We've had 15 murders a year for all Czechoslovakia 
It was the same number as in New York City for day (or night).

but,u must consider the population of country.Turkey population s :75 million,England p s:65-70,Germany s:75-80m,USA s:225 m...so u must look at these numbers...

I have considered the population .15 mil in former Czechoslovakia equals 15 mil in New York City.

The comparison you make isn't very accurate in my opinion as it doesn't take into account the different factors, which contribute to murder rates. For instance, North Korea has a population of almost 23 million people,yet the murder rate in North Korea is nowhere near the levels in New York City, which has a smaller population. There are other factors than the size of population to determine the murder rate of a particular region.

I just wanted to say we were during the time of socialism almost crime free.
But you ppl from capitalist foreign countries can't know the feeling of absolute crime safety in country.

Where do you know the murder rate in N Korea from.
