Hey guys! I found out something cool yesterday, the button on the handsfree (I use the HPM-70) play/pauses the media player!
I had a K750i and I missed the play/pause button on the side of the phone, but it looks like they just moved it.

Just unboxed mine, nice phone, but sloooowwww. Or slow compared to the p1i. You certainly miss the jog dial too. Hey ho, looks prettier and saves pocket space though.

Other's here are commenting on how fast it is, so maybe it's just me and maybe the fact that I have a French phone means that I can't see the latest update. I'll look at changing the region at some point to see if the options get any better.

Otherwise the phone and the UI are lovelly a big improvement on the P1i, they've put a lot of effort into the themes and I got a 4Gb M2, which I thought wasn't meant to be there. If it runs a bit quicker with a future update I'll be very happy.

On a side subject, is it just me or is the PC suite still really flakey?

@BopNiblets

This is good news...the play/pause button on the K750 was really handy...

re. speed - My girlfriend has w960 my mate has P1 and I have G900 and P990 (used to own M600)

The G900 is fastest. Its more responsive. This makes sense as its the latest handset from se and they have tweeeked him, so hes the fastest ever UIQ3.

offtopic - Im a big LCG Jukebox fan (because you can play your songs as folders from memory card. But now I have POWERMP3! Its faster, sexier has skins (mods!!) and combines the versitility of the media player but with that play from folder (which i must have) . Gona buy it now LOL

takes a couple days to get used to it, but trust me... you wont miss it a bit!

UIQ3 with a d-pad and proper back button is sooo much better...

Sorry for advertizing, but if you feel your UIQ3 phone slow, try the acceleration by Tweak Peaks. It costs nothing to test for two weeks if it works on your particular phone or not.

No, only Symbian UIQ 3.0 Games are compatible with your G900, and All Java Games (240 x 320 pixels preferably) are compatible with G900
