Using seus, the latest firmware is R1EC001. so you cant get R1FA030!! well, not from SEUS anyways, so, I ask again, where is anyone getting any later firmware from? |

well i've put my 890 back in the box and started using my 950 again and hoping orange will release the 960 at some point
Reason:
The signal is so poor it made the phone pointless other than as a paperweight.
No signal on a mobile, must be anew joke i'm not understanding.
May try the firmware update people have mentioned, but otherwise its a very nice phone, easy to use and quicker than the 950 for menu use etc, but as said no signal no point |

the w960 has already been released and is available on upgrade direct from orange. wouldnt recommend though if you dont like touch screen.
the signal on my w890 is absolutely superb, even better than on w810. so i don't know how you are holding your phone?

I upgraded mine. One thing i noticed is better sound quality. More dynamic. And media player is faster. |

Sorry, I meant "Orange", not "range" lol. So how can I get generic firmware? I have Orange firmware. can anyone download it as a file? |

My activity menu button seems to have stopped working. When I press it nothing happens. Its happened several times now, the way to fix it is to restart the phone but I don't want to do that constantly.
Anyone know another way to fix it?

Hi everyone!
I have just got a almost-new silver w890, sim free from origin, and I've just updated it via SEUS.
Last firmware in Spanish and Catalan language is generic R1FA030.
I am using a white w910 too and I must say this little boy sounds very well, feels lovely for everyday use and takes quite fine photos.
I am having problems with internet settings, though.My operator cannot do it well and SE web page fails too.I have tried sending it se w910 settings but ut does not work, can you tell me which model could I try now?Maybe another model could "work"
Any ideas?

nothing to do with how i hold my phone.
it is probably more to do with the area of country, and seems lots of people have encountered signal quality issues.
I have asked Orange for the W960 and they do not do it, and it is not on the website either. Touchscreen i really like, hence why i have the 950
Anyway, it is in box and will stay there as i haven't found a suitable reason as yet to use it.
I may try again in a few months, we will see. |

Can we set custom msg alert tone for specified contact? Newer a200 like c902, w980, etc will have this option.. When we edit contact, on the third tab there's picture, ringtone, n then MESSAGE ALERT, right before voice command..?
