Or... NOW YOU ARE COMPLAINING...

I hope to get an Etisa line soon. Just so they stop pestering me with txt messages to come pick up the line I reserved. I think by now the queues at the Ceddi Plaza Office here in Abuja would have reduced.

Meanwhile, does anyone send MMS with Glo? I keep getting "GPRS not subscribed" when I try to use WAP. Glo MMS don't send successfully.

I want to participate in the MMS contest.

BTW: I recently changed my phone to a Chinese iPhone clone. Both MTN and Glo WAP settings were working on my last Motorola. MTN MMS was also working on the old phone. So I wonder what I am doing wrong.

Let me clarify:

Phone: China iClone
MTN WAP is working.
MTN MMS not working.

GLO WAP shows "GPRS not subscribed".
Glo MMS not working.

QUESTION: Anyone has Glo MMS working?

@all, please do the nigerian 3g network support HSDPA ? I want to get a new 3g mobile. but i know there is UMTS and HSDPA. I want to know which one works here.
i'm thinking k660i or Nokia 5320. both less than 30,000 and they seem packed.

after spending like 4 hours in the gsm village here in abuja (and almost doubling the initial amount i intended to spend) i bought the N82. Well like they say where i come from "if you are gonna eat a frog, you better eat the ones with eggs". This is my phone for @ least another 18months so it better deliver.
Anybody interested in K750, about 2 years old, 512MB, you might need to change the casing though, everything still works fine..joystick, headphones, charger, camera, bluetooth, IR etc
there is a God and he's got mad love for me!!!

I've been visiting the site all this while but it'z just curious that I've not been inspired to write in for a while. It'll be SAD to see this forum go down like this.it was good once so why can't it be, again? I've trundled through forums and no Nigerian forum bests THIS ONE at itz best. We got MEN here and not those STRIPPLING TEENAGERS in nairaland. Maybe it started getting boring+ one dimensional but this could be easily addressed. We could BROADEN the SCOPE of discussion and throw laid back banters 2 enliven tinz. This my take anyway

Our SA friends are quite surprised about about all these talk of resting PNF.

Some of their responses:

Hobb: Sorry to hear that Brym.Hope someone can ressurect your thread so it doesnt have to die.

amawanqa:@ brym!:
Really sad to see that transpire; but there have been times when it's taken a fair bit of effort to keep this (SA) thread ticking over too.
Personally I don't think the Naija members should just write off such a great thread; it may just take one or two to keep posting whatever cellphone-related info, cellphone pics etc just to keep 'alive' and exposing the thread to possible other Naija cellphone geekstas n' geeksta wappers, and who knows...
Good luck.

Brix: brym!: Sorry to hear about the Naija thread, I've not been there in a long time. Aren't there any developments in Nigeria regarding telco's?

So who say PNF go die? Na lie!!! Come on guys we've come a long way to just end it like this.

To the regulars( Oluyom, amby, Coola, Ifedisky, 2Tek, Areafada, adrusa, mamba, abubakar, angelgirl etc) ...pls never stop sharing your mobile / telco/naija experiences here.

To the MIAs( Missing In Action: Demmy, namzo, pxthomas, uchrik, fdigital, artwales, dawny, 234hay etc)... no problem to drop in once in a while.

Finally, to others watching from the gallery... it takes less than 10 minutes to register...and it is not too late to hear from you

Keep the flag flying!!!

I for one am not ready to throw in the towel on the Naija thread...I'm out here in the Philippines and will keep it flaming if that what it takes to prevent this thread from dying.

Just hoping that people would start posting more pics to liven things up a bit and also not to fear moving the discussions onto other areas.
