@kothor:
Would you really prefer a lot of parts to a lot of mobiles? I hope my phones are still the more interesting collection
@ericsson_man:
how the hell could you place a bid in the very last second? Wow, congratulations, you damned lucky guy. But be sure: Next time I will try to be more carefully
Btw: Did you already receive it? Does it work the way it was promised by the seller?
@Robis:
sorry, I don't sell any spare parts. I need these parts for repair and restore works which I also do for other collectors, as ericsson_man or tigerente can confirm. It's getting hard to find spare parts and I wouldn't like to quit restoring one day due to running out of parts. That's why I buy now whatever I can.
There are still some online shops where you can buy parts. http://www.euromobile.se for example is a good address to find ///-spare parts.

so strange, in the old days the made phone that look good and worked without any failiure. Even the colors were normal and perfect.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA |

@Robis:
There are parts I have plenty of times, like 7xx covers or T1x covers. Unfortunately you asked for my last golden T68 front and for my last R520 front. I have payed the same high prices for these parts like anyone else would pay so it just doesn't make sense to sell these parts. Please tell me where you are from so I can help you to find a suitable shop where you can order the desired parts.

@Robis
Thats a good question, I only know that they used more modern icons and a new cover colour (denim blue) but for the softwaredetails I don't know. In regular use I did not notice any difference...may be somebody else in this forum could help to answer your question...

Indeed, it'S only dial-up possible. There have been two basestations AFAIK. One for analogue dialup and another one for ISDN.
They have planed to make a network basestation but the project has been canceled before.
BUT the firmware is linux-based so good programmers should be able to implement a BT-LAN-paket.

If you want to try out how to do it, you can get R1C firmware as bin-files and the boot loader. But I don't know how to make an upgrade.

It'S really (for 1999) a very good screen and touchscreen.
It's made for Ericsson by Hitatchi
Displays, Hitachi, Ltd.
3300 Hayano, Mobara City
Chiba Pref. 297 Japan
Here's some mechanical data about it:

R380e has a more "3D-look" for icons and menus, some new applications (like Ink Notes) can also be found in R380e firmware... it is possible to upgrade a R380s with R380e firmware, but you'll get a bit less free memory available since R380e requires a bit more space. For the external design the R380e model has a brighter blue cover then R380s
