@2Tek Try Google. I think it is the new LTE Technology. Not sure.
While searching for drivers for my China Phone, I stumbled on this site: http://www.china-mobile-phone.com
It seems the iphone clone will soon be on our shores. Yippee! Go to the site, click Dual-Sim Standy (third line at the top) and scroll thru the results.
Sorry, Guys! I have gone fullllllllllly Chinese. Thanks to them, I have reduced how much I will spend on phones from 15k to 10k and got features I have only read about. What I saw on the site gives me much cheer.
In six months, these models will probably be affordable for me. Up China!

3.75G or HSUPA (High-Speed Uplink Packet Access) is similar to HSDPA but provides theoretical uplink speeds of up to 5.8mbps. HSUPA would be heaven for people whose work involves uploading large files.

@area: You should be able to, but you will need to add a profile for the network you want to use under settings (you'll need APN, username and password) and then select that profile for use. We once did that with the MTN modem we use at the office and were able to browse with a Glo SIM inserted in it.

compliments PNFers. whats been cookin? (asides turkey and chicken).
I was wondering, with me Izap i get download speeds of max 32kb/s using internet download accelerator. Is that what obtains with other users? Cos i tot broadband was supposed to give downlaods up to 600 - 800kb/s on the average. Or is it that i'm outside evdo coverage area. I doubt if this is 1x speed sha.

If you are getting 32kb/sec, you are definitely outside of EVDO coverage. And do count yourself blessed to get 32kb/sec on Starcomms 1x. I have experienced worse. I guess its the accelerat5or that made that 32kb/sec possible at all.

Yes, that number is correct. I tried it this morning too and it didn't connect either.
You may need to get a Glo 3G modem. costs only N 7,500.
