i had both devices, while i prefered the buttons of the T600i, i prefered the design of the T66. the dual color which which ericsson used alot during those days.
never had any problems of any kind with both of them.

T600i is a sony ericsson! xD

I used a T65 for quite a while, and a very respected phone it was. Was a proto though although no bugs that I can remember - apart from once getting stuck in a state where it needed to be taken completely taken apart to cut off the power (battery in / out! - was underneath the screws on the back). my mum still uses one of these as her main phone, although has a second phone of a k800i (to do with networks etc..dont ask!)

The T65 was similar to the se T200 - which i used for a while (in proto) as well. i preffered the keypad on the se as the T65 was far too squashed together. still have the phones somewhere [addsig]

T65 is nothing compaired to the T200.
the T200 is more like the R600, but even slower.

the sim slot solution on T65 was a bit strange yes even though the T65 firmware contained some bugs that caused the phone to hang/freeze, many times when the phone froze it could be related to problems with the sim card slot.

talking about T65, found my old photo gallery with some photos of T65, http://www.pbase.com/cytech/t65s

Hello there,

I like the T65 series! I got three models: the baby blue, the yellow and the dark blue (cosmic), all in good condition. The one on the picture is my prefered one!

Today I've got my display cabinet illuminated. It was a strange feeling to drill hole for the wires through the back of an antique jugendstil cabinet but the result ist pretty nice as I think:
