A few comparison shots

---

This image is for those who say that original driver has a better auto mode (point and shoot) compared to cybershot xperience.

Taken in Daylight - Cybershot Xperience gives the best colours and quality compared to any driver.

(I used DM 3.8 mod by alexin instead of DM 3.8 original, i couldn't find the original one in limited time)

------

Following images preview the greatly enhanced Flash mode of CX 7.0 (Coming soon)

Now the flash mode more accurately adjusts ISO and Exposure according to distance of object from the camera. No more over/under exposures.

Colour representation is improved as well

Original:

DM 3.8:

CX 7.0 (Providing accurate colours, (check the red) and totally free from over-exposure):

---

---

Original:

Another example, No over-exposure and accurate colours from CX 7.0:

------

Not only in Macro shots, but in distant shots too, flash mode exposes more of the background and captures more light:

Following shots were taken in a room where the lights were turned off

Original:

DM 3.8:

CX 7.0:

-------

How's that ?

dam, this looks great!
this has been a problem for me with indoor flash photography.. often the subject is too bright if at close range, and flash is just too strong, or the background is very dark.

I cant wait to try this out..
thanks again for all of your hard work Master!

Change-log in v 7.0:

* New LNG file

* Improved Flash mode (explained above)

* Added vertical, horizontal and vertico-horizontal mirroring in Manual settings (2) Can be useful in certain conditions

* Removed Colour Tints but retained the following useful colour tones:
Red (fiery)
Yellow (warm)
Green (scenery)
Blue (cool)
* Added Vivid and VDR modes

Vivid mode intensely improves colours in an image

VDR acts to expose all parts of image to produce an image like HDR.

* Video mode resolution in Night mode changed to 432 x 240 (BETA)
It can be played from file manager but not from the cam preview after recording.

* Improved image quality and all scenes.

* Many minor changes and fixes.

-------

Driver will be released in a day or so, all work done

yes, exactly.. you do not need to waste time with comparison shots.. you are doing enough already!
let everyone take their own comparison shots if they want.. spend your time more wisely working on releasing the driver

totally agree with you...and after all - beauty is in the eye of the beholder...so everyone should make comparison for him self and decide for him self

keep up the good work

Excelent work!!!

Can you increase the video bitrate? Despite the resolution, what seems to spoil everything is the video bitrate which compresses a lot and macroblocks appear...

mlife.. it sounds like you have somewhat of a professional setup going on here with lots of equipment.. why would you want to use a C905 in this case? just use a real SLR.
you have quite a unique requirement here

lol... "professional"
not so much... far from it actually... just like gadgets and happen to have a few flash units around. I only wanted to use a C905 like that cause it seems no one else really has yet and it just keeps getting more and more advaced thanks to witchking's driver! besides may make for some cool pictures [addsig]

This is INCREDIBLE witchking!
I have used your driver on my K850 (Which died after some bad flashing) and it gave OUTSTANDING results!
Now I got a C905, and I am testing this one!
It is great so far!

I am looking forward to the 7.0 version...

Keep it up!
