were did you get snes emulator for uiq3 ?

I like my megadrive emulator (can get from my-symbian)
then google free megadrive roms (select top)

for uiq games try http://www.ipmart-forum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=274

G900 supports Symbian OS9.1 on UIQ3 Platform + Java Script

Re. Batteries I have 5 bst 33 so dont have problems. just keep a spare two in jonny pocket. I have not removed my new battery from g900 yet - lasts ages. After a few full charges your batt will gain capacity

It's not for UIQ3 unfortunately, it doesn't work, made by this guy:
http://notaz.atspace.com/snes9x_uiq.html
But his link is broken, so I googled "Snes9x_v040.zip" and then tried to install it, but it doesn't work!
I got the Installation format no longer supported or Installation file is corrupt message.

any possibility of G900 coming out with an american 3G variant? I'd love to get one, but feel like i'd be wasting money if i could use the 3G network (even though AT&T's 3G network is slow in comparison to others)

@wah007

Battery seems fine (got 1% left since yesterday morning and have been playing around with it alot... had about 40 mins of calls, some of which was via BT in my car, over an hour of wifi use browsing and downloading emails, and some camera, music and games use also) just used to the P1 and its higher capacity so wondered... it does take a few charges for it to perform to its full capacity though, so ive got no worries from the first charge cycle... mine was about 3/4 charged when i got it so i charged it till full, and will let it run down till it dies... i'll repeat twice so it has 3 full charge and discharge cycles from new... looking forward to getting my new work sim so i can see how Blackberry Connect performs on it and see whether there are any improvements from the last version on the P1...

@Creid

no need to kill tasks as they are just sitting open in the background and dont have an effect on battery consumption (except some java apps), having everything open for multitasking is what these phones are all about!!!

also, the default screen brightness is 65%, so 80% will drain the battery faster than standard... im personally fine with 65%....

Battery on mine is not too bad, I have it left on Auto GSM/3G and I leave blue tooth on with power saving. So far the phone is lasting about 3 day's with it on constantly. I have only charged it about 3 or 4 times though. I make a few quick calls, browse on WiFi and play my game on it plus generally play with the phone. Still love it, can' get over how thin it is compared to the P1 and P990!

Hi all,

Just wondering, how the handset performs - ie, general tasks - how are the transitions from Menus? Is it generally, a decent performer, speed-wise?

im really impressed also... i use mine with no standby application so its just like a normal phone... and with the messaging button i have quick access to my blackberry email which is great work wise... also, a quick press on more then task manager and i have access to all the apps i use on a regular basis (i open them on boot) so i dont need to go into the menu that often..... perfect...

i think the regular standby app is a good addition also and will be good for first time uiq3 users...

Now beacuse the wlan works properly ! I am so pleased with the G900 !

But yesterday i saw the G700 and i am a bit jealous that the G700 has alluminuim finish and the case makes no noises !

But maybe there will be some alluminium case to buy in the future for the g900

zubr!
