@jomateixa, i notice a small annoying problem i have the same problem using tungsten wb on flash pics looks really nice but like me you have changed the Check if flash needed, property 23 to apply this, the problem is that when taking a picture in full light with the flash on, the flash won't fire but the tungsten wb is still applyed when you hit the focus button same for your Increase contrast.
if you don't belive me then do this simple test and see for your self,
make sure your somewhere light so the flash won't fire even on auto, first disable the flash hit the focus button you will notice everything is fine, now restart the cam enable the flash and hit the focus with your cam driver on auto you will notice a increase in contrast & exposure because you set #COM_EVENT(55,01) for use with the flash, on Portrait you will notice it uses tungsten wb & same for twilight portrait. we need a way to only apply these settings when the flash acuatally fires.
That issue happened to me in flash RER cause it's not forced but it's FIXED, re-download the 2.44 and watch prop 23, you have to put #COM_EVENT(11,00) or wherever you want just after flash OFF command. Tell me if it's the problem you're talking about.
In Ultimate flash RER is not forced so it works like your Auto mode. With this fix when I focus and there's light the flash does not shot and WB is setted to Auto, if I focus somewhere without light flash is enabled and WB to tungsten. If I focus the light another time the flash will not shot and WB comes back to Auto.

no you didn't understand what i am trying to say, of corse the flash won't fire in high light unless you force it, my point is even though the flash doesn't fire your settings of incresed contrast etc for the flash are still applyed. |

No, it does not happen in my driver. Re-download the 2.44 and use flash RER to check it. Watching code, when flash is not needed that settings are omitted.

I dont know if its just me but i prefer not to have fixed WBs in any scenes, i like to have the option to change the WB to whatever i like.
My opinion is that the driver should be as "up to the user" as possible. But ofcourse that is not my decision to make.

I agree but for the slow sync modes the only good WB is Incandescent, because the light background is added during the long exposure causing red spectrum |

Is there any difference between auto(macro) & document ?
I have done some testing now between the two modes and the only thing that could have been a difference is at some
pics document gave colors that popped out a tiny bit more..
But that can have been some sudden change in light conditions or that i might have changed the angle a bit.
Does the contrast, exposure and sharpness settings from document-scene go with auto(macro) too?
