after being on R1FA035 for so long, the phone's restarts started increasing slightly and now im getting "operation failed" errors sometimes at the games folder when deleting some games, and also it can just hang for nothing and restart wtf. any new firmwares?
if this gets worse ima re-update again sian.
Im exactly the same, plus every time it restarts it changes back to the default theme. |

put the theme that you use into phone memory. It may help.
It won't hepl the crashing for that you should try a master reset. Also try reformatting the mem card.

My phone has firmware R1FA035 but the SEMCBoot version is R6A013 while yours appears to be older. I'm confused.
I guess operators can pick and choose software components to place in a release. I double checked the version last night and it's correct. |

When i tried to open more than one application it says THIS APPLICATION USES TOO MUCH MEMORY.
Has any1 experienced this....any way around to overcome this.... |

Never experienced that. I even use an english dictionary of size 11 Mb and it runs smoothly. Well of course there is a difference between size of application (residing in storage memory) and heap size (like ram memory). But I know that the heap size is dynamic on SE phones.
Do you have enough free space in your phone?

You might need to try a few things to test it out. For example try with different applications if you haven't already. Also, try uninstalling all your java apps and deleting the "system" folder off your mem card then reinstall the apps and try again. Try formatting the mem card (low probability but worth a try).
As a last resort you could also try a master reset.
It's definitely not a firmware bug - no one else has reported this behaviour. It's not a memory problem - I also have opened large apps (like the dictionary app) as well as had atleast 8 apps open at time with no errors.

Walkman player in W910 is a bit of a memory hog. I find that it can cause wierd problems sometimes . However java performance is rock solid if you don't use media player - so I recommend using KD Player for audio.
@pete, I was just testing. Most I've had open in real use is about 4-5 (kdplayer, opera mini, mini commander, and a game or two, or other similiar combinations of apps)

No you should have free space on the phone itself, not the memory card |
