I think that the discussion is heading a bit offtopic... If we are not going to see pictures of P5i, it would be nice to get some more info about it? Anyone?

I guess if there were "a bit more info" available it would not need to be asked for as people wouold want to be the first to post anything new
so I suppose we're at a bit of a dead end regarding facts at this point and all we can do is discuss possibilities as I don't even find any other rumours on the net except those that lead back here

Please understand the situation PK is in. I almost got in trouble posting on the P700i (P1i) as I did back then.
I probably would have had access to the P5i (or whatever is is going to be called) as well, if it weren't for the fact that I'm no longer in telecoms (out of free choice, luckily).
For sure I would have been much more reluctant to post about on the P1i prototype knowing what I've noticed after leaking/confirming specs. NDA's are there for a reason (unfortunately). Just wait for SE te announce this phone. It will happen... |

You're right... But there are so many contradictory opinions about this announcement. I really don't know what to think about this whole situation. I hope that it is really going to happen... very soon.

Hi all,
Let's be fair here if PK could tell us more or post pictures i am sure he would as he did with the P1 and even the W960. But his work and income are at stake if he does. Who here can honestly say they would risk those things just to keep some fellow SE fans happy?
The 15th is only 4 days away lets just hope we get the announcement we are all waiting for then.

Quite a remark for a phone that hasn't even been announced or even a slightest chance of proper specs. I understand PK thinks its the best phone, but afterall thats his opinion and since he's working for SE, in my opinion its a bit biased?? we shall see on the 15th if any mini reviews come along??

While I'm still holding out for the 15th, what would be the logical, business-oriented reasons for delaying the announcement (if that's what SE plans to do)? Would it be because Nokia has an announcement planned for the 14th? Personally, I think Nokia's 14th announcement solidifies SE's announcement plans on the 15th, but I'm not a business/financial expert, so I don't know.
Any ideas one way or the other?

Possibly they don't want to look silly if it looks like they will be announcing a device that is already behind what Nokia announces one day before?
P990i: A mistake, a curse and a disgrace  So I lowered my expectations and settled for a P1i. I couldn't keep my expectations so low for a long time so now I have an HTC Touch HD |
