@kriomag
sorry about the questions.. You have so many versions of drivers I lost track of which driver does what.
I must have missed something in the last 3 pages. How do you select which VR modes? is it automatically changed when you select night mode and enchance night mode etc.
is night mod on and macro off = std night mode on this driver
is night mode on and macro on = New Enchance night mode? or is is still night mode on, macro on and light on? |

3 VR Modes:
- Normal mode = Normal Mode VR (14fps)
- Night mode = Night Mode VR (10fps)
- Night mode + Macro = Enhance Night Mode VR (5fps)

Hi Kriomag. I've tried your 7.7 camera driver, very impressive
I have some question about spot metering mode..
I tried taking a picture with spot metering mode and normal metering mode with ev increase.
I hardly see the difference result between these 2 type of shooting. Here's my test images..
normal mode
spot metering mode
normal mode with +1.0 ev
I just thought that spot metering mode will increase only brightness of the center object.
But my test image says that overall brightness of the picture is increased.
If it's true, why do we need spot metering mode while we can achieve the same result faster with plus ev in normal mode ?

tnx kriomag for driver with profiles.
in your opinion, is the 7.7f driver (or any other) better with cc or not, is the color more real?
how 8.53 works with cc, did you test it?
i still hope that cc is able to put as profile ( or that cc is def, and normal is in profile)
and others, what do you think about cc?
on sunny day, cc gives nice pictures, but in some cases like indoors, normal is much better, colors are nicer.. (talking about 7.7)

yep... CC isnt perfect its good only in some situations... for me: default (too much greenes/yellowness? ), CC (too much red - but im working to fix this ).
Im trying to make CC as profile but its not as easy as inserting ENM to other drivers... i dont know if i can do it

hehe, because thats how spot works it measure amount of light in the picture and set it to be best for central object other objects are not important so can bo overexposured (yes, its the same thing as EV + but done automaticaly). I noticed SPOT is very good for Macros (flowers etc ) |
