Nah,with the success of the Nseries devices i doubt they will kill it anytime soon, maybe in another 3years, who knows.

Hi all,
Although personally i think the N series has a long live span ahead of it who really knows if Touchscreens really are the future as being predicted by some some and Nokia create a whole new series of devices for them. We may see the need of both the N and E series devcies vanish where as if they incorporate the Touch UI into both the N and E series they will continue, only time will tell what actually happens but i don't see Nokia combining N and E series devcies into one segment any time soon well not IMO.

I think they should kill the E series. I dont really see the point to them. Everything they offer(which is very small in amount) can easily be put into N series. And E series have been a failure to say the least. Businessmen either carry imates or blackberrys.

Hey guys, i'm thinking about getting the N95 (not until april though) I've seen two versions...which should I get? The black 8gb (flash memory) or the other which can take up to 8gb in a card.
The one with the flash memory doesn't have the lens protector, whilst the other one does. Will it matter? What are your opinions?

the 8 gb is a better option for sure. bigger screen, more poweful battery and a bit better design.

@ QVGA
My Dad is a businessman and he prefers his E61 to his Blackberry Curve and HTC TyTN. Why shouldn't NOKIA challenge the HTCs, I-Mates, Blackberrys, and QTEKs? They are doing pretty well especialy with the E65, E61i and E90.
@ Proc
Id say get N95-8GB, bigger screen, A LOT MORE RAM, and already has 8GB, BUT if you dont mind 30mb of ram and want a lens cover then get a normal N95 (in Sand colour is a must!)

I also don't agree with your assumptions either have you not seen just how many E Series devcies Nokia now sells and these figures are rising not falling. The E series whilst running the same OS do have quite few differences to both the installed apps and also additional options for the Home Screen and i think Nokia are right to segment there devcies in this way and it seems to work for them.

Eventually both series maybe replaced but until that happens NOKIA will just keep re-inventing itself ! besides most E or N Series are phased out in a yr or so anyway whereas SE keep things out far to long!
