Hey thanks for the help buddy. I am actually looking for something like zroot. You just click root and everything works like a charm. I want to use wifi tether as I cant wait for 3.0 update anymore.
Does superclick or something like that works?
Thanks again

Go to XDA and download SuperOneClick 1.5.I used it when I had the 2.1.A.0.435 firmware.Pretty easy to use.
Now I just use Flashtool. It has a rooting option as well.Last one I used was v.0.26.

1. ROOT ACCESS
To gain root acces it`s quite easy. Just have to do this:
1. On your phone check "debbuging mode" on Setting > Applications > Development
2. Plug you USB cable
3. Open your flashtool and click on Root box
4. Wait a few seconds and your phone will rebbot
5. Voilá

where is the root box?
i don't see any file or anything as root. i do see a folder named root. do i have to copy and paste that? sorry, more details would help me better. thanks

edit: done. what an @$$ i am, didnt click the x10flashtool. its done. thanks once again. now i can tether and use 3g on ipad

I know this has been mentioned before, but I can't find the info I am after.
How do I remove the SIM (Network) lock from my X10i ?
I have used Davinci before but they don't have an option for this phone.
Anyone help ? |

Cant wait to feast on some official gingerbread on my X10. Eclair is sweet, but not as filling a meal as gingerbread can be!

I used davinci to unlock mine. You can send it away to be unlocked too.
Gingerbread should be with the X10 soon making it nice and zippy.
