It seems Etisalat is not keen at makng a good 1st impression.Their network signal disappeared from my area since yestday |

I'm one ahead of you, uchrik: Etisalat does not have network coverage in my area at all. Even at my office, the signal comes and goes like the ocean tide. Their EDGE service gave me what I experienced last on MTN and Vmobile dial-up about four years ago. Even Esato mobile wouldn't load on it. A friend tried out a voice call from his Etisalat line, and the voice quality was choppy with some interference.
Talk about first impressions, ey?

One of the major problems with Glo and Zain is that they got complacent and lost a lot of their key staff to Visafone and Etisalat who are the highest paying Telecoms companies now. These key staff are probably the innovative ones who had been responsible for smart ideas in the past, and probably for the present innovative ideas we've seen in Etisalat and Visafone lately. |

Amby,it's a phone I bought from Reltel.It has only Reltel logo on it.I saw the G1600 for the first time after that post.

here in portharcourt we can hardly get its signal but i believe with their kind of starter with time they gona re-enforce its services cos i ve seen most of their mast which are still under construction.

Amby,saying more about Etisalat,I wonder how the home zone feature functions.I ve set the same area as my home zone for 11 times now and am still being told that am not currently in my home zone. |
