Last piece of Info - XR5 as well
There will be optional lenses for Honami, Interchangeable lenses like NEX/Alpha. Probably something like you have with Iphone third party lenses.
Probably won't have anything else to share for quite some time

I hope those lenses weren't going to look absurd like the ones made for the iphone
And Sony please, give us at least one G-series Telephoto lens

From reading Ambivalents posts im guessing atleast one of the screens will be Sharps IGZO. Just to give an idea of how much of an improvement they are (there is a reason Apple gave Sharp 2 billion dollars just so they dont go out of business) a regular full HD tablet screen draws something like 1600 mw, with a Sharp IGZO screen, the power draw drops to around 500 mw. Of course this is for tablets, but it gives you an idea of what we are looking at even for smartphones
Then of course we have the S800 wich is more power efficient than S4 Pro, it also comes with an integrated LTE modem, wich makes it draw less power than S4 Pro or even S600 wich both have seperate LTE modems
S800 also comes with fast charge 2.0 wich charges the battery 75% faster than S4 Pro
Combined with an improved stamina mode and if true a 3000 mah battery, its would not be surprising really if Honami showed very good battery life

Not to forget, sony has developed its own low powered gps chip too. If all of these things are put together, It would make one awesome device. I guess I will have to get me a honami

It sounds like the camera area will be very satisfying.
- 2/3 inch sensor, 2.13 micron per pixel, (not sure how that brings 13mp, sounds more around 27mp), new and exclusive technology, hoping for some spice that allow it to be close or on par with Nokia EOS or pureview! This tech may explain the size mismatch.
- interchangeable lens, with "probably" the default one a G lens with max aperture f2 or f2.2, and RX2 Optical Steadyshot.
- new Jpeg engine, including a Bionz chip, and we can hope it will match the quality of the hardware.
Ramu, it sounds like Sony will make it a compelling package. It also sounds it will be such an important selling point that we won't get more details about it soon, to keep the best part for the WOW! factor at launch. That is how i understand it, it is a bit frustrating, but it will be better this way! |

You choose a place in Google Maps within a 5 mile radius and are instantaneously transported to that location. Apparently Teleporter spec 2.0 to be approved by FCC next year will have a 50 mile radius and be available in Xperia flagship 1H14.

Only 5 miles radius this year? Do you think there's a way to 'over-clock' it?
Now I want to see Samsung copy that.
