Will the "dark screen" on the portrait with flash mode be corrected? Itīs very annoying to have a black screen while focusing and not see people Iīm trying to focus. On auto mode it works but when I want flash + slow shutter (portrait with flash to have both the person and background well lit) while focusing the screen gets black...

Other than that remaining modes work great! Sometimes it overexposures the scene but itīs brutal how well it takes pictures! I also went on vacations in July and used my C905 to shoot and...fantastic! Like a digicam! Couldnīt do it without the manual ISO mode!

What remains *very* bad:
- lots and lots of compression artifacts (low bitrate?) on video, both QVGA or "Hi Res". That spoils everything

Any idea how much itīll take for us to see 7.0?

for now until Witchking fixes the problem, there is a work around for this problem.. once you are in shutter speed control mode just increase the shutter speed (EV value) time, then, lower it back down.. and then set it at the value you like.. and the screen will no go black the next time you focus.

its not really a big deal to me..

Most of the time that workaround does not work for me. It works a first time but then the problem persists. If you are on a party and that happens on 30-40 pictures...that is an important issue.

I know I have asked before, but figured I'll ask once more for the heck of it..... Is there any chance the pre flash can be eliminated when force flash is activated?

EV 0.0 in Twilight Portrait means 1/50s shutter speed. Change EV to desired value. It will surely work.

@ Dimabr

Not possible.

......

@ mlife

I shall tell you how to do it.

Why do you want it so? It's like losing a function.

7.0 is ready and completed There are a lot of improvements.
I shall post it when I use my PC.

@ dobrizmaj
I already added them in previous versions, just with different names. Colour Tints could enhance a particular colour tone but they were not very commonly used.

I want to do it so I can use a multiple flash/remote setup via the C905a.... but when I force the flash, my other flash units are optical sensors so when the first pre-flash goes off, it discharges my slaves..... I thought it would be a fun effect to light a scene with multiple strobes [addsig]

mlife.. it sounds like you have somewhat of a professional setup going on here with lots of equipment.. why would you want to use a C905 in this case? just use a real SLR.
you have quite a unique requirement here
