my first bluejacking experience today!!!
i went to town and was hanging about various phone shops trying to bluejack somebody, but got nothing. then i remembered that you guys got some good results from places like starbucks, so i sat outside with my mate. i found somebody ('Unknown') and took a lucky guess that it was a Nokia. i proceeded to sending it. in the name field i had 'Nokias suck! Buy SonyEricsson!' and in the email field i had 'You've_just_been_bluejacked_by_jellyellie!"
hehe. i suddenly saw this guy take out his phone and show it to his wife (i guess she was his wife). they both sat there staring at his phone and talking for about 10 minutes. they kept looking around too. then my friend pointed out that he had the word 'golf' written on his polo shirt. i sent him another contact with 'Do you play golf?' and he was extremely frightened by this .
eventually they left and my friend spotted them speaking to a security guard. i reckon they showed him the contacts i had sent him because he had his phone out.
his wife then took her phone out too (a 6310i as well) and they stood in this walkway looking at each others phones for, well, it must have been about 20 minutes.
i send the man another message again, this time saying 'Have you worked it out yet?' I heard his phone bleep and he showed it to his wife. He was smiling. Then he walked up and down the corridor looking for the bluejacker. hehe. he never suspected me, after all, who would suspect a 13 year old?
we decided we'd leave it at that so we wondered round town looking for some more victims. but you;d never guess what happened next... we were walking down the street and my friend suddenly grabs my shoulder & pushes me around. the man i bluejacked earlier was standing in the middle of the street with his wife again!! hehe. we calmly (yeah right!!! we were over-run with excitement!!!) walked down this alley, then into a phone shop. i tried bluejacking him again but it didn't work then the man and woman walked down the alley we had previously been in. we followed but they were walking out of town.

I have a question about SMan: can you also set a frequency for the proximity sweep, for example that it automatically checks for new devices every minute? |

this is my second successfull Bjack story.
i had to go down to work to find out what times i am working so on the way back i take myself to mcdonalds for summat to eat before going out tonite(only goin to stratford for a dwink)
so im sitting in mcdonalds and its full of execs(very smart office like people) and 1 is sitting on the table next to me. so i think lets see what i can pick up on my radar so i do a scan and only find 1 phone "nick"
so i wonder who nick is so try to print an SMS to his phone (it failed)
so i send the clasic contact
The devil
666
thedevil@hell.com
i hear the nokia beeps and its nto the guy on the table next to me its the guy in the corner with his wife/g/f so trying not to look round i carry on eating my fries and start to compose another contact this time it was the typical nokia sux buy SE
now for my third contact i send
nic you have been bluejacked
turn off bluetooth
then i left the restorant and as im riding my bike off i look back inot the window and he gives me 1 hell of an evil. oh well it was fun
i still ent seen the matrix |

Lol, had my first bluejack today: i was on the bus, going home, and i did a "discover" on my T68i. i found someone whose device was called "ALICIA". My fren go so excited, grabbed my phone, and sent my contact hoping for a reply. What happened next was TOTAL CRAP. i got an sms saying **** off. How lady-like. And one more thing, the best place to bluejack HAS be convention halls. How about the CeBit 2004? =D Imagine all the devices u can find. i made a search @ suntec convention hall in singapore, and found, guess wad, devices. 1 p800, 1 ipaq, 2 t68is and 3 7650s. Sure had a lotta "fun". |

not that i'm calling you a liar but.. a) u say this was your first day.. but then found no less than 7 phones, after your first 'jack on the bus? lucky! b) some of these were t68is? lucky again! i mean.. what're the chances of you finding *2* of them in a scan before they both timed out.. as we you would know, owning one yourself, they only remain discovable for 3 minutes.. c) lucky with the p800 and ipaq too! they arent discoverable as per default iirc. sorry if im wrong liek.. ~woz
