i need you help i plugged my ipod into the usb on my laptop to download some songs
and this thing came up ipod updater, so i clicked it, so i would have the latest software etc etc
and it downloaded it and came up attach the ipod to the plug outlet to finish the update/flash
my ipod is a usa one so i didnt have an adapter, i just went out and bought one and plugged i in and nothing happens
it displays a picture of the plug entering a socket
i even plugged it into the usb on my laptop and nothing, itunes doesnt load
pleaseeeeeeeee can someone help i am soooooo upset

format it if you can. from the pc or from the ipod its self. thats just a guess but i would do that.

nothing worked untill i tried the firewire port on my pc and it came alive
