Btw: I never held a MC12 in my hands. Can anybody explain me the difference to the MC16? On pictures they look quite similar.

There is another R190 sat on ebay, with GSM-Antenna only.
And a WAKABA Prototype.
What about Ericsson DECT Phones...

Kind of high for starting for the Wakaba, isn't it? Does anyone know for how much was the last working Wakaba sold?
I bought mine for 50 euro, but it's a non-working one unfortunately. |

@hanky:
I just asked ericsson_man to borrow me his flash interface so I can make myself a copy. I hope to be soon able to flash non-working wakabas with a working firmware. I will let you know about my results.
The floor price is almost what killspam once payed for the phone. Afaik it's the highest ever payed price for a Wakaba. I have to admit that this is one out of only a few working units but this detail will hopefully be changed soon.

well, as far as I can remember- I payed 300 British Pounds for the WORKING Wakaba (round about 450 Euros). Of course it is still not a bargain.

@killspam:
Feel free to ask for any price you like. But what you once payed is twice as much as the average price from other Wakaba sales. Don't you think you should match at least your floor prices to appropriate values if you want to sell your goods?

@ ALL: i wonder how much you guys treasure Ericsson. Would you stand against sony inorde to bring more Ericsson ideas and way of life?

But for Sure the DECT Phones are quite too expensive. And they are not rare....
The DT412 might be the only one that sells...
But the DT292 Charger for 15Euro is just crazy...
Cheers....

@Boba:
you were asking for voice quality of the R190 past week. I tried out the phones for the first time. The GSM part is presumably compareable to series 8xx phones, the sound is clear and loud.
I don't think I will have the chance to test the satellite part in the near future: The ACeS network is only available in the Asian area. That's what ACeS says about their network coverage:
"The ACeS coverage area is over 11 million square miles extending from Pakistan and India in the west, to the Philippines and Papua New Guinea in the east, and from Japan and China in the north down to Indonesia in the south."
@All:
I've got a A1028sc in great condition for offer. It is labeled as prototype but it doesn't have the typical prototype IMEI which starts with 004601. Instead it comes with one of the very first regular IMEI numbers that had been assigned to the A1028sc: It is number 30. Feel free to make me any offers:
