I'll reserve my judgement once Sony debuts the new functions of the camera. Assuming the photos are from the Z4 and that is the real camera, then we are looking at the older IMX220 which has:
Number of effective pixels : 5264(H) × 3960(V) approx. 20.84M pixel
Number of active pixels : 5248(H) × 3936(V) approx. 20.65M pix
vs the IMX230
Number of effective pixels 5344 (H) x 4016 (V) 21 megapixels
So unless this is just a variant and other prototypes used the new IMX230, but I feel the IMX230 is not ready just yet, will definitely arrive at the Z5 at IFA, and this might be where the 1 per year flagship starts? Still a lot of unknowns at the moment and too many false infos flying around. |

I doubt the credibility of the second lot of screen shots are from the Z4, main reason is the last 2 screen shots have the old navigation buttons used on KitKat so this could just be the last 2 were taken from a Z3 maybe and the others from a custom launcher? It's just a guess but something doesn't add up with these images.

I say there has to be an option to invert the menu colours because I hate the bright white, it needs to be black with white text. They must allow an app to do this. |

The Japanese walkman shots are from a device running 4.4.4 but showing the Material Design of the walkman app. They are not from a device running Sony's Lollipop.
Off-topic, but the shots of the walkman are obviously someone who listens to a lot of Japanese music but in the notifications area is a key symbol meaning he/she is connected to a VPN (only really necessary in China). I would guess this has been leaked by a Sony dev team member who has been deployed to the China R&D here in Beijing.

Sony Xperia E4g adds LTE to the E4, has dual-SIM version too
Sony has just announced a 4G version of the Xperia E4, the spec sheet is almost the same except the CPU is bumped up from 1.3GHz to 1.5GHz and NFC is now included. There is also a dual sim version and is priced @ around £100 with the standard 3G version dropping in price by £10.
This is very competitive from Sony I think, there isn't many 5" devices from a major brand that retail for around £100 and have 4G thrown in as well.

Yeah, it looks like a bargain is that is the price. Good specs for their bottom of the range smartphone.

I did not pay attension to the kitkat bottom buttons. the 2 walkman app pics are definitely not from z4.
E4g should have 100 uk pound price tag imo but at least they are improving their launch prices.
btw, we're less then a week until the 2th of march (opening of mwc = press conferences day) and there is no video/commercial teaser sent from sony. that confirms no scheduled press conference afaic. on the other hand, sony will have 2 big booths on mwc floor. go figure...
