A video from Clove here and further on into the video you can really see the screen difference between the crappy Samsung to the Sony.

S3 has a habit of dimming the screen a lot on Auto mode, also I bet the sony isn't on auto brightness.

That said, after having both AMOLED and LED I personally prefer LED.

Hey Ambroos

Congrats on your new XZ!!!!
Do you have access to any other colleague's WHITE XZ? IS it possible for you to get a video of Black and White XZ together. I am now confused on which to buy. The Black one looks beautiful but will be a fingerprint magnet, where as the White is not a complete white, not much white on the front face.

Yes, no doubting that but at what expense on the battery. I'd rather have a slightly smaller screen and a battery that lasted a day.

Early Sony's always have terrible battery life until the firmwares are updated.

Sony Mobile has kept quiet on if/when the Xperia Z will launch in India. However, it has offered a glimmer of hope to customers after both the Xperia Z and Xperia ZL are now tagged as “Coming Soon” on the official Sony Mobile India website.

Both Xperia Z and Xperia ZL to launch in India?

Xperia Z chinese review...

http://www.mobile01.com/newsdetail.php?id=12975

And it supports 64GB...

Bad news is, they claim that Xperia Z battery is a bit worse than butterfly's...

"Xperia Z, the automatic shutdown start from 1:39 to 5:29, for a total of 3 hours of continuous playback 50 points. Phone tested by comparison, is not a long, shorter than all the hours. The machine records ▼ Butterfly began to read from 1:40 to 06:00 automatically shut down a total of 4 hours and 20 minutes of continuous playback. This is measured over the phone even if quite normal. Two the same set, the same time, play the same YouTube videos go on measured power results butterfly machine played for half an hour more than Z, but the the Butterfly machine's battery capacity is instead smaller (butterfly machine is 2020mAh, Z is 2330mAh...)"

With a comparatively smaller battery(2020 vs 2330), HTC managed to give a better performance(4:20 hrs vs 3:50 hrs)..
It's weird...

Do you mean, it might give a good battery-life after update...???

Yes. Sony phones always have terrible battery life in the start. Once the battery settles down, and with updates by Sony the battery improves quite a lot.
