@forceabuser, unfortunately, the album shows ALL photos, and sorts by date taken. I've been trying to find a decent photo album substitute, but haven't had any luck. If anyone has an app for the X10 that can show photos by album, please post here. Thanks!

And I hope they fix the phonebook sorting issue. I can't sort it any other way except by first name.

They didnt have any stock, but they said they get them in stock every week so I shouldnt have to wait long. I also have the HTC Desire available for £110, but the wait on that would have been longer, they said that there are people that have been waiting for the desire since June and they still havnt got one.
Its just what I wanted - an affordable android phone with a querty keyboard for texting.

2.1 update scheduled for the 20th of September. Damn, was hoping they would skip straight to Froyo. |

Has anyone had problems using the touch screen while the USB is plugged in??? Sometimes it just freezes up, or should i say, it goes numb??
It might just a background process running. If you have a wifi power manager installed, it will activate wifi when plugged in... When wifi is active, all apps that use the Internet start polling for new updates and push messages...non stop. So some apps will cause some lags when background polling.
If you're plugged to a computer and not an ac outlet, then your computer might be scanning your phone at regular intervals for any changes.
I notice it when its plugged to the AC outlet. And my wifi wasnt on. Even my data traffic was disabled!!!!

What apps do you have installed? Is your phone rooted?

If background data is disabled, is there any way that the phone will be using data without me deliberately opening an app? I am currently on a mobile plan that does not provide any monthly data, and so I want to avoid any surprises on my next bill. |

jmb, theoretically, no... but just to be safe, I would use the data widget to turn data transmission completely off until needed. The X10 Mini has a default widget just for that and is pretty useful to cut all gprs/3g data until you turn it back on. It's a one-button widget, not a shortcut to the settings menu so it's much handier than some apps/widgets out there.

Or you could download APNdroid to disable data transfer

SMODA widget does a good job too, but if all you do is manually enable and disable it, I'd reco sticking with the built in data widget... why waste storage space? Until we get a FroYo update where we can move all the apps to the SD card, I wouldn't really wanna waste precious phone memory on a widget I already had.

Also worth noting that those covers are not genuine and do not have the Xperia badge/sticker on them
