Nevertheless there are still symptoms of a smaller censor and smaller lens ie: blurring towards the edges compared to the Satio shot which is evenly focussed throughout the image. I resized the Satio image to 5mp using mitchel re-sampling and sharpened it - but while I got a closer comparison than you did it's still not as good as the e72. If you agree I will post the result on flickr, (and credit you for the photography of course).
But that's ONE picture, not a definitive study, and it still focusses on only one aspect of image quality.
Sure, you may share it. Please let me know if you would like to analyse more comparison samples because I have plenty of them.
