Washed the car today.
Shockingly dirty, thanks to the rain, just from a medium length sprint to Heathrow!
Took about 1hr 45 - but that's how long perfection takes, eh?
Even cleaned behind the rims, for the first time ever! It was filthy!

God bless bent garages eh Big M?

lol... but no. it was the main Toyota dealer here in Crawley. I half expected a long list of stuff, what with the state of the economy and less people buying cars etc, but they actually said its the best Mk1 MR2 from the few that still come to them

I smiled all the way home

It was only a shampoo and full clean of the wheels.
Wash wax too, so I didn't do a separate wax and polish.
Nor did I do the inside, or the engine bay.
The last bit was all done a few months ago, and so far, there's only a small layer of dust. Might do it on the next wash.

Now does 1h45 sound long?

It's not a car wash it's the one you use yourself and it's fine thank you!

No it's a huge brush and soapy water, even better, takes no more than 6 minutes, good times.
