As long you have cleared your 18 months obligation, you are entitled to promo phones, arent you? Otherwise you can just simply quit and re-registered as new customer.
@mib,
I agree, the music is a little muffled on W910 when compare to N95 8. The headhones is also a bit muffled. However when it is alone or hook at car stereo aux port the sound is ok especially with mega bass on. Try to listen to the music using Nokia headphones.
Earpiece volume is just a tad louder than my N95 8 however it is a lil mufffled too.
I love A200 predictive tel number and contact menu. How I wish Nokia S60 has it.
Man, the phone pays for it self, doesnt it? $16x18 months contract = $288. You can easily sell it for $350 BN. No wonder it is a hot set here. |

The offer I am considering is for a new (actually extension) contract. They are offering me HK$1000 (US$128) discount with any 18 month contract (minimum HK$138 x 18) for any handset. Special offer I am considering is HK$(218 +15) x 18 (=US$30 x 18) which will entitle me to buy W910i for HK$380 (=US$49). This is not a very good offer but one of the the best from this network. Finally the phone will cost US$588 against its list price of US$319. I am sure I will get a better deal from another network but there is a special reason I don't want to change. |

i use sennheisers to listen to my music and it is much clearer than the standard SE headset. the muffled sound when using Megabass almost totally disappears with the sennheisers, and i get very clear, crisp sound when i set the equalizer manually.
the sennheisers are also much more efficient so that the same volume setting on the phone generates a louder listening volume than the standard headset, so much so that i have to use lower volume settings with the sennheisers to avoid hearing problems.
so i suppose that if you really want first rate sound, then it's best to get a headset from the specialists companies. it made a world of difference for me. |

I want to ask you about the camera's zoom - do it has only 2.5x in VGA pictures or more?
The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand... Mediar's Site |

@vladimirok
maybe your phone came from Asia? You can check your software version >*<<*<*
@mediar
it is only digital zoom (cropping) and not optical zoom. Zoom only on landscape mode and not default mode.

BBS,
I have no problem with W910i's and S500i's slider (normal usage). The slider mechanism is better than my nokia N95 8GB.
A white/gold W910 is nice but keypad number is not as clear due to a white background. The havana bronze (brown/gold) is nicer imo
PS: Does anyone know a way or a link to change the selection keys-shortcuts? Thanks

I'm really disappointed with my W910 on O2. This is the 3rd one I've had in 4 months, the others have all had faults!
This one has now started playing up as the screen goes off and the phone needs turning off and back on again...
Good old O2 you pay for a new phone, and yet as soon as they go wrong you end up with a refurbished one!
I'm seriously thinking of purchasing something else to be honest! |

Hi everybody!
I just collected W910i from my service provider - color is havana bronze. I had option for red, black and havana bronze and I think havana bronze looks better than other two.
So far so good, except the handset suddenly refused to acknowledge the SIM. Even restart did not work - was necessary to remove the battery. I think SIM is not the problem in this case. |
