afaik, right now the p700 does not have the uiq/symbian version it will have on launch, so things will be even better then. Right now it seems to be based on uiq3 only.

Possibly true.
Bear in mind this won't hit the shops till after July, so  has time to implement changes if need be!

Peter, it is for sure...ask ajack, pcascais, mr, rog , etc. SE is working on the new version, that will be shared by p700 and the older uiq3 phones

can you edit and save your own equaliser settings on the music player?

I'm anxious about this phone, but there are three thing I'll miss against P990:
- the keyboard locking slider
- play/pause button
- status led
oh come on SE, it's a P series, why did they stripped these things away?  |

peterkay shoot an outside video with P700 and upload it somewhere so we can see the equality of the recording. The first video you post although it is very dark seems to be at 30fps which is quite promissing (at last).
